Album fell 5 places to #25 this week with sales over just over 30,000 wich brings it's total to over 313k!!

 

I am getting REALLY annoyed about EMI. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM??? Can't they see that the album is falling down the chart more each week? They need to take action and start promoting the album. God, I think the Chairman must be a 3 year old child or something. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Robbie williams is planning a remix of his Rudebox album. An insider said: "He knows how to reignite it, he has to get it on the club scene."

He does not need to be releasing silly re-mix albums at all. If he wants to reignite it, he needs to start to promote it! I sincerley hope this is untrue and this is'nt the 2nd album planned for next year along with Swing 2 :o :arrr:

 

The album has dropped out of the top 25 in the midweeks btw :cry: It has sold just under 7k yesterday so should still end up selling 25-30k by the end of the week which should bring it's total to over 340,000 with ease. Still wish it would stop dropping. If it could at least stay top 20 sales would be much better <_<

There is an ad for Rudebox on Channel4 right now :D I think I need to recover from the shock when I heard Lovelight starting to play on the TV :blink:

I just saw an ad here in Ireland as well for Rudebox on TV - I was left speechless . EMI - youv'e done a great job with the promotion ...Ahem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Yeah - Right - Well done

sales increased slightly though to 31.957, so the grand total is now 344,974!

My daughter told me they played a Robbie song she never heard

before on the radio here yesterday, she said she knew it was him since

she recognized his voice......It had to have been a 'Rudebox' song....

she's heard most of them, but not all....it couldnt have been 'Rudebox'

itself because she knows that song well and all his older hits too!

Wonder what it was?? :) She couldnt remember how it went?? :(

 

That same station always plays 'angels' and 'feel' too! :)

According to www.ukmix.co.uk/forums the album has sold 114,000 copies this week. Not bad since it's not in the top 20 :)

nope i played 'lovelight' for her, and she said it wasnt that one,

and she wouldnt stick around to hear other ones, always in a

rush that girl?? <_< Well I'm sticking to that radio station from now on

so that i might hear it too! I usually listen to the hard rock station

and i never ever heard robbie on that one...so im gonna switch for

a while and put up with all the 'poop pop' that i hate! :wacko:

Its latest leap takes it past former Take That star Robbie Williams’ latest album Rudebox which slips 27-28 on sales of 38,675, with an eight week cume of 383,702 being Williams’ lowest for a studio set since first solo album Life Thru A Lens’ same stage 29,888 in 1997.

 

I wish they would stop comparing a non promoted rap/electro pop album to an insanly promoted comback album full of ballads :blink: :angry:
