Looks like Louise, along with lovelight could be the next track on the new album to be released as a single if they are talking about making a video.

I am not pleased about this. That is 2 covers being released. I want originals not covers -_-

So with rudebox, lovelight and louise, thats 3 singles being talked about being released as singles already and the album isnt even out yet.

Only 3 released from IC and thats been around for a year :(

I wsnt new stuff not covers! :arrr:

I'm really

Apparently Louise will be used to promote the album and won't be released as a single. Well, that's what it said in the Star I think!

Ant and Dec to star with Robbie

Robbie williams teaming up with Ant and Dec for his next video really does sound too good to be true.

Or, possibly, bad - depending on your point of view.

I''m told plans are in place for the Geordie pair to star in Rob's video for the cover of the Human League tune Louise.

My source said: Ant and Dec will recreate their schoolboy characters - who appeared in sketches every weekend when they were still doing SMTV live.

"I'ts Robbie's idea that the video will be set in a school - with him, Ant, Dec and also his mate Jonathan Wilkes dressed as schoolboys.

Rob, 32 and the TV presenters, both 30, have been mates since discovering they were all very wealthy, famous, from the north and into golf.

They've often been spotted socialising together and perfecting their cheeky chappy routine.

The video will be used to help promote Rob's new album Rudebox - but won't be released as a single.

Edited by Scotty.

It doesnt worry me too much if Robbie does sing cover songs, as long as he carries on with creating new music aswell I think it's ok.

And as long as he does not only release covers as singles. I'm very happy to hear the Louise won't be a single for the reasons Scotty already mentioned.

I'm hoping for She's Madonna to be released. Although I don't even know the song yet, after everything that has been written about it so far this track could be huge.

Yes, and would'nt it be great to get Madge to appear in the vid

Wow, just imagine that! :o It would be great! :yahoo:

Well, she did it for Britney Spears so who knows

I read somewhere (weeks ago) that Rudebox would be the 1st single, Lovelight the 2nd (just before Xmas) and the Madonna one the 3rd (in about Feb/March next year). That seems most likely I think. ^_^

Robbie Williams fans have to wait a little longer for the official release of his new album Rudebox – it doesn’t come out until October – but not a second longer for the scoop on the new songs. This time around, Williams blends electronica, hip-hop and classic pop. The title track is the first single, followed by “Viva Life On Mars,†which has a distinct country feel and features banjo and harmonia. Yee-haw! Next is “Lovelight,†on which Williams pulls out a falsetto for a wicked track that will be pumped out at dance clubs for sure. “King of the Bongo†is a cover of the Manu Chao that features vocals by UK pop star Lily Allen and French rapping by Williams. Up next is “She’s Madonna,†a melodic collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys in which Williams sings about taking Madonna home. The uplifting pop song “Keep On†also features backing vocals by Allen and is followed on the album by “Good Doctor,†a hip-hop bit that pokes fun at the U.S. prescription drug system. Williams raps about Joaquin Phoenix on “The Actor†and follows it up with the forgettable “Never Touch That Switch.†“Louise†is a William Orbit-produced cover of the Human League song, while “We’re The Pet Shop Boys†features Williams and the Pet Shop Boys doing a cover of the PSB cover of the song from My Robot Friend. Williams vocals are stripped down on the next track, the ballad “Burslem Normals.†Another cover is next – the classic Stephen Duffy track “Kiss Me.†Williams sings about his adolescence on “The 80s,†but don’t let the kiddies hear this one! “The 90s†follows, of course, wherein Williams sings about his experiences with boy band Take That. The CD fades to black with the strings-infused anthem “Summertime.â€
