Posted February 20, 201312 yr Bruce Willis buys U2 bassist Adam Clayton's home The star of A Good Day to Die Hard star has shelled out the big bucks for Adam Clayton's home in New York. Bruce Willis has reportedly bought a new home for his family from our very own Dublin musician, Adam Clayton. The 57-year-old actor bought the property for $8.695 million, according to reports on entertainment website RadarOnline.com. Apparently, Clayton put the apartment, which is part of the prestigious El Dorado building in New York, up for sale in October 2012. The building is a 1930's art deco style building on Central Park West, a highly sought after area. Other previous owners of apartments in the building include Bono and Alec Baldwin. Willis is to move to the building with wife Emma Heming-Willis and their daughter Mabel, who is 10 months old. Bruce also has three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore, Rumer, 24, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 19. The apartment has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a custom-made kitchen, slate countertops and terrazzo floors. We suspect the pay cheque from A Good Day to Die Hard helped secure the sale. And Adam Clayton is probably good for a loan if you bump into him in your local. joe.ie
