It did go Top 75, but only just - #70! Chart run so far: 102-107-94-70-82.

Quite awful, considering it's peaked lower than two album tracks ('Right Now' - #36, 'Nobody's Business' - #63') and barely any higher than a deluxe album bonus track ('Half Of Me' - #75). :o

'Right Now' is a pleasing enough choice, hopefully it'll be an easy Top 10.

Im so happy this is going to be a single its going to be this years Where have you been

This song is such a great choice, she definitely needed to release a more uptempo song after the last couple of releases. The song is amazing, but not one of the best from the album.

This album gets FAR too much hate, it's really really impressive imo. So many sounds and actually feels more cohesive than some of other albums.

"Pour It Up" is such a good track, with a single it would've been top 20 without a doubt.

I highly doubt it. Radio 1 playlisted this, and it only made #70. This is Rihanna, she can usually release any old rubbish and it'd do better than this.

Not really, Rihanna's post-album singles cannot rely on Radio 1 alone. Had it been given a video and a single/EP release it would have charted higher.

Can't see this doing anything if she doesn't promote it properly.

I'm really trying to like this, but I just can't. The chorus is weak as anything, and that "breakdown" is cringeworthily derivative. The whole thing just has the feel of Rihanna's record label hearing her album, panicking at how bad it was, and desperately phoning up Guetta and getting him to throw something together in 10 minutes.

I don't see it doing well here either.

It's complete trash. I wish I could say people are turning on generic crap like this but Pitbull and David Guetta/Akon are in the top ten so I guess not.

To me this sounds like an attempt to recreate 'Where Have You Been', obviously much lesser though.

I think it could peak top 15 and probably have 5 weeks in the top 40 or something.

  • 4 weeks later...

I like the artwork, not a huge fan of the song at the moment. Maybe it'll grow the more I hear it and with a video. Do we know when a video will be out?

Sure to be a big summer hit I guess.

I think Lost In Paradise would have been a great single.

I imagine this will be the big budget video of this era like how Where Have You Been was for TTT.
Im not feeling this song at all but i hope its a tleast a top 20 hit for her.
I much prefer Phresh Out The Runway or Jump. This song will probably reach the top 10.
