Out of 'the big three' Bed On Fire has a bigger performance and a bigger melody than the other two songs (imo), Yohio's obviously a spectacle as a personality and Ulrik has a strong song and lots of fans, but Robin and Anton going to the final will possibly have dampened his televote potential. Hopefully Bed On Fire can sneak a win, it really would be a great entry and the biggest possible contrast to Euphoria.

My Rankings:

01 Anton Ewald - Begging

02 David Lindgren - Skyline

03 Ralf Gyllenhammer - Bed On Fire

04 Sean Banan - Copacabanana

05 Ulrik Munther - Tell The World I'm Here

06 Robin Stjernberg - You

07 State Of Drama - Falling

08 YOHIO - Heartbreak Hotel

09 Louise Hoffsten - Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream

10 Ravaillacz - En riktig jävla schlager

Okay, after so much negativity from me - I've just gone through all of them, and I actually like all of them? The schlager song isn't great, but it's enjoyable at least. The top 6 of those are all fantastic imo.

My Predictions:

01 Ralf Gyllenhammer - Bed On Fire

02 YOHIO - Heartbreak Hotel

03 Ulrik Munther - Tell The World I'm Here

04 David Lindgren - Skyline

05 Anton Ewald - Begging

06 Sean Banan - Copacabanana

07 State Of Drama - Falling

08 Robin Stjernberg - You

09 Louise Hoffsten - Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream

10 Ravaillacz - En riktig jävla schlager

I'm very torn between the order of the top 3, of which I think that ANY of those could win.

The running order for the final has been revealed:

1. Tell The World I'm Here - Ulrik Munther

2. Skyline - David Lindgren

3. Falling - State of Drama

4. Begging – Anton Ewald

5. Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream - Louise Hoffsten

6. Bed On Fire - Ralf Gyllenhammar

7. En Riktig Jävla Schlager - Ravaillacz

8. Copacabanana - Sean Banan

9. You – Robin Stjernberg

10. Heartbreak Hotel - YOHIO

So Christer wants YOHIO to win then :o Completely killing off David Lindgren, but I can't see him doing much better than bottom three anyway, even though it's technically a stronger song than Shout It Out, I still prefer that song for some reason. Perhaps because Danny already perfected Skyline's 'sound' last year. Bed On Fire will sound incredible after Louise Hoffsten. Ravaillacz and Sean Banan next to each other :/

RUNNING ORDER

1. Ulrik Munther

2. David Lindgren

3. State of Drama

4. Anton Ewald

5. Louise Hoffsten

6. Ralf Gylenhammar

7. Ravaillacz

8. Sean Banan

9. Robin Stjernberg

10. YOHIO

ah, beaten by rich. :kink:

That furthers my feeling that it's now just a two horse race. Ralf vs YOHIO (Ralf in Loreen's spot from last year) - I'm DEFINITELY rooting for the spectacle that is Bed On Fire *.*

Obviously I prefer Begging, but that doesn't really stand a chance of WINNING.

Oh dear, YOHIO have won this then :(

Loreen crushed the competition from the middle of the running order last year, Christer made it quite clear that he wanted Danny to win! But yeah in such a close year it's probably given him a huge advantage. Loreen would have won singing 2nd, 4th, 7th or anywhere, it was just one of those songs. The running order definitely matters more in a close year, Caroline Af Ugglas would have absolutely won in 2009 had she and Malena swapped their 2nd and 11th places in the running order.

David and Anton will cancel each other out. And I thought Ulrik was guaranteed for number 10. YOHIO's song is so average and I can't stand 'Bed On Fire'. I can see Robin with a good chance now.

Predictions:

1. Ulrik Munther

2. YOHIO

3. Robin Stjernberg

4. Ralf Gyllenhammar

5. Sean Banan

6. Anton Ewald

7. David Lindgren

8. Louise Hoffsten

9. State Of Drama

10. Ravaillacz

Whilst it's far from a vintage final, it's stronger than I gave it credit for, it has two amazing songs, and three other very good ones for me, and I don't hate anything (I'm not a fan of Copacabana but it's not HATE - unless it won somehow). Last year had three amazing songs for me - Euphoria, Amazing and Mirakel, so it's only one less. And despite the lower quality, it's still ten times better than any other national final has been this year! I guess we were just spoilt in the past few years results wise. There have been loads of gems this year, it's just that a lot of them crashed straight out :drama:

Aftonbladet poll, 7000 voters so far:

Yohio 23.96%

Ralf Gyllenhammar 17.92%

Louise Hoffsten 11.88%

Robin Stjernberg 10.34%

Anton Ewald 9.74%

Ulrik Munther 7.17%

Ravaillacz 6.27%

Sean Banan 5.68%

State of Drama 3.59%

David Lindgren 3%

I wonder if the eventual winner this year might not be the winner of the televote? I can see Yohio winning the televote but coming mid-table in the jury vote. Whereas Ralf or Ulrik could come close in the televote and much higher with the juries and overhaul him?

A picture I never expected to see!

Actually, I could see YOHIO doing quite well in Malmö, in a Wig Wam sort of way. But it would still be the worst Swedish entry since 'Las Vegas'.
I think Anton and Robin will cannibalise Ulrik and YOHIO's votes to some degree so I could see a Ralf victory quite easily. That said I don't think it would be the worst result even if I'm not a big fan of it personally. I'd rather have Ulrik or Anton win. If Ulrik doesn't I doubt we'll see him back in MF for some time, if Anton doesn't he'll do a Saade.
But it would still be the worst Swedish entry since 'Las Vegas'.

Evil goat woman notwithstanding I assume.

OH WOT Martin didn't get through? He was my only hope for something really good getting out of AC. Well I don't care for either of those qualifiers, in fact:

1. YOHIO

2. State Of Drama

3. Louise Hoffsten

4. Ravaillacz

5. David Lindgren

6. Ralf Gyllenhammar

7. Ulrik Munther

8. Robin Stjernberg

9. Anton Ewald

10. Sean Banan

It was looking a near perfect final but Heat 4 and AC ruined it. :(

YOHIO for the win - Ralf or Ulrik would be acceptable but very disappointing.

A State Of Drama win from nowhere would be quite *.* too considering they were rank outsiders from the start and have a fantastic song for its genre.

LOL both AC qualifiers are ALREADY DEAD

OMG Queen Af Ugglas + Jedward! *.*

Yohio to win pls. Although I kind of love Ulrik's song too now.

I'm not letting myself be swayed by any indicators of Louise Hoffsten's success (including my dream last night in which she won, why am I dreaming about MF wtf?) - it all just reeks too much of Sara Varga/Lisa Miskovsky, and she's gonna limp in at 9th.
