March 28, 201312 yr DELETED. IT WASN'T THE GUY OFF HARRY POTTER Digital Spy users seem to think there's some p**** ring which all the Dad's are apart of. Reckon that might be slightly off the mark.
March 29, 201312 yr I kind of wish this was more than 8 episodes now. I'm so invested in these people. That reporter girl is so sneaky! I think since suspicion is being cast on the guy who owns the cornershop (aka Filch!) we can reasonably conclude he didn't do it. I don't buy the p**** ring theory though.
April 1, 201312 yr Poor Jack. The mob got the blood they wanted. Still no idea who's responsible, but that 'Susan' woman is certainly dodgy as hell.
April 1, 201312 yr Poor Jack. The mob got the blood they wanted. Still no idea who's responsible, but that 'Susan' woman is certainly dodgy as hell. Really sad ending to tonight's episode - but you could just see it coming couldn't you. You knew there'd be a perfectly innocent explanation behind his prison stint but he'd still suffer via the hands of a mindless mob with help from a corner-cutting, mud-slinging tabloid hack! The caravan woman is very, very dodgy too (although I don't think she's directly involved in Danny's death - although she has profited from it one way or another - at least via stealing his skateboard). I still had to record tonight's episode though and ff the slo-mo (and some other) needless bits. Still - a lot faster moving than previous episodes which is a positive thing. April 1, 201312 yr I'd guessed last week that Jack's "victim" would be a girl who was nearly 16. Still, it's good to see the press being portrayed as the scum that they are.
April 2, 201312 yr My money is on Becca Fisher. Whatever the creepy caravan woman and the dad's workmate are involved in, must be a red herring. I think it would be too obvious if they were directly involved in his death.
April 3, 201312 yr What was great about the Jack story, is what's how it's often portrayed in the press! The Joanna Yates story must really be some major influence for parts of the script. I've still no idea who killed Danny. I'm leaning more and more towards Chloe's boyfriend though.
April 4, 201312 yr What was great about the Jack story, is what's how it's often portrayed in the press! The Joanna Yates story must really be some major influence for parts of the script. Jack's story was almost identical to the Donald Sutherland character in 'A Time To Kill'.
April 9, 201312 yr Brilliant episode last night! Finally some direction in who the killer might have been - there were two that I thought it could be apart from the obvious two (Ellie's husband/son) and yet I still have no idea! *.* at Mad May too!
April 15, 201312 yr Looking more and more like it will be Miller's husband - everyone else has been brought into questioning by police!
April 16, 201312 yr Looking more and more like it will be Miller's husband - everyone else has been brought into questioning by police! I'd be so disappointed if it was. Mayday the policewoman's husband is the killer too, and seen as they're produced by the same company I'd be disappointed. He's been so obvious from the start, infact I'm sure he's the actual favourite. I still think it's either the Dad or the Sister. Nigel's connected to it and he'd do pretty much anything for the family, which makes me think it's someone very close to home again. The fact they brought Will Mellor back to say that makes me think it could even be more likely!

The fact they brought Will Mellor back to say that makes me think it could even be more likely! I think he is the favourite actually, he might be a red herring then because the final few minutes of last night's episode seemed to point towards him ie. he didn't tell Ellie about the fall out between their son and Danny. I don't think its the sister but it's very likely that it could be the dad especially as he has a gap in his alibi. The only person that I'm positive that they aren't the killer, aside from his mum and the police, is the vicar and Susan Wright as I don't understand what they would gain from giving away crucial evidence - the computer and the skateboard.
April 16, 201312 yr I'll also be really annoyed if it's Miller's husband - he was hardly in the episode last night! My mum said that the line that Miller said to Susan about not knowing how something was going on so close to home could be a hint at it being him though. I do think that Susan just saw a bald man though and decided to frame her son, leaving Miller's husband and Chloe's boyfriend as the only other bald men that it could have been.
April 16, 201312 yr My mum said that the line that Miller said to Susan about not knowing how something was going on so close to home could be a hint at it being him though. I think it is Danny's dad then because when you link that with what Will Mellor's character said, it must be someone in Danny's home.
April 16, 201312 yr I thought Susan could be mistaking Joe and Nige, but then at the end of the episode Nige basically admitted it was him. The fact he made his one phone call to Mark seems odd aswell. The Miller's definitely have something to do with it, that much I'm sure of. The cocaine and money still hasn't had an answer either. Lot to get through in 45 minutes next week!
April 16, 201312 yr The montage at the end tonight did kind of suggest that the p**** ring theory might still be a possibility, no?
April 16, 201312 yr The montage at the end tonight did kind of suggest that the p**** ring theory might still be a possibility, no? Seen a few theories that Joe is abusing Tom. Would tie in to that comment that Ellie said to Susan. The fact that Tom said he'd tell the police the Vicar was abusing Danny if he showed them the computer must lay weight as well.
April 16, 201312 yr Good theory, esp since they haven't given Olivia Colman as much dramatic stuff so far as the other lead actors, when she's renowned for giving brilliant emotional performances.
April 16, 201312 yr Good theory, esp since they haven't given Olivia Colman as much dramatic stuff so far as the other lead actors, when she's renowned for giving brilliant emotional performances. Looks that way. There's reccuring themes so far of people not having a clue about each other. Ellie's so consumed by her work, and her husband doesn't have a job so just what DOES he do all day? The Miller's are definitely connected to it somehow, there's been too many little hints dropped to say that they're not. Heck I've even some theories that Ellie is the killer. I thought they were stupid, but I saw a screen cap of Tom's phone with the text messages and he has 2/3 from 'mum' at 3.39am!?
