Well in all seriousness, I think the style of clothes you'd wear in LA in the sunshine are different to what you'd wear in rainy old England.

 

Only been to US once - we went to San Francisco and I bought some trainers there with bright pink laces. :lol:

 

 

I walked around all week feeling fine in them and wore them home on the plane. I'd barely stepped off the plane into the airport when I looked down, thought they looked ridiculous and bought some black laces. :lol: That sunshine is responsible for a lot of madness. :cry: :blink: :wacko:

Hot foot from Upfront. Robbie is in the studio today. ^_^

 

So that's about a week he actually took off from work then. :lol:

That was it Tess - a thirty second "I'm in the studio" and a tiny bit about the kids but he did say in a previous snippet that Karl was going to go out and write with him and so it seems :)

and yes although I didn't see it, someone else said the UTR2 is not going to happen now until after the "proper album". I think he just ran out of time what with the tour and all. Shame but understandable. :(

 

He's also mentioned Soccer Aid is happening at some point next year. B-)

Talked to my brother & his wife this morning in Australia, they went to see Robbie in Melbourne. Said they really enjoyed the show & that Robbie was a great performer with the crowd eating out of his hand. They also went to see Neil Diamond this week & said that even though they enjoyed Neil they preferred Robbie as a performer , they said Robbie had that real connection with the audience. They had not seen Robbie before so I am delighted they enjoyed the experience.

Gish he writes quite a lot .... was listening to Rod Stewart recently , he talked about going through a difficult period writing albums but said how he just loves it, I think Robbie is the same ...

That "connection" with the audience - that is his secret weapon isn't it. It just comes natural to him.

 

He talks/performs to an audience like he's in a room with half a dozen people and he's speaking directly to you. That kind of thing can't be taught and it's why he's such a successful live performer.

& my sister-in did say he was naughty :lol: but thought he was very good at the same time , they had a good night :)
