  1. I do think that goes a long way in explaining why people my age (63) have no idea how the charts even work anymore. After CD's went, I got on OK with Itunes when it meant something and a sale was still a sale but after streaming came along - it left me way behind. The whole thing at Christmas where the same five songs are at the top every year just baffles me. What does anyone think will follow streaming, say in ten years time? What could be a future way of recognising album/single sales?
  2. RW and Oasis duet please 😁 I know Oasis would never agree to it but we can dream....😁
  3. No -that was accurate Tess -I've read numerous accounts Including I'm sure from Rob himself, that it was Jason that voiced what the other three were thinking. Maybe he just had the balls to do it. Sometimes the quietest people have the strongest back bone don't they. I remember so much about the Progress Tour because I was so thrilled for them all to have sorted out their differences, I LOVED the album and I was really invested in it. I remember Rob was blogging almost every night on that tour and I remember his saying that at the time he and Jason were the only childless members of the band so they used to stay up late and just talk and talk. He felt really close to him on Tour, so when Jason left, I knew it wasn't because of RW, despite what the GB Army would have had you believe. Like I said I'm really glad they addressed it and I'm looking forward to watching the documentary. 🥰 I still get the same thrill when I see that RW and GB have written together (on Morrissey) as I did when I heard Shame or saw them together for the first time at Progress Live or TTC at the O2. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling 😅 that people can move on from the most difficult of circumstances, apologise, move on and become and stay friends. 👍
  4. I'm glad they have addressed that in the documentary because I remember RW getting so much stick on the forums that he was the cause of JO leaving after Progress. That his ego had driven him away etc etc. I knew that wasn't true because Rob always spoke so warmly of Jason on the Progress Tour. He really looked up to him like a big brother.
  5. I see what you mean Alex about the sales. I hope him Management Team know what they're doing though and don't miscalculate. If indeed that is what they're doing I hope to God after six months preview, he can muster more than 15k sales. It's a brilliant album..it deserves more 🤞
  6. I don't get why reviewers are saying Morrisey is Robbie being "sarcastic". We all know RW loves Morrisey. I think he's just trying to understand him and is paying tribute to him.
  7. I like what they did with that performance. Maybe he is paving the way for a couple of gigs there.
  8. Fantastic reviews all round. Today I'm really enjoying "Morrissey" 😍
  9. He must be happy with that - thirty years into a solo career ❤️
  10. Was that an awards show? He hasn't been to Saudi before they said?
  11. I'm so enjoying reading all these wonderful reviews. Thanks for posting them all up Tess. 😀 I like that the reviews reflect that even if you may not like his style - he is always authentic and true to himself. His lyrics come from his own experiences and are heartfelt. I listened to the album today - I'm really enjoying the high energy sound of this album. My favourites so far are Spies (I think the lyric "shut your month and fight it" would make a wonderful tattoo 😉. I love Human, Morrisey and You. I like hearing the GB vocals on Morrissey. That gave me a warm little glow. 😀 This album reminds me a lot of UTR1 in it's sound and I think as I listen to it further it is going to grow and grow. Having listened now, I can understand why in the live gigs it is going to be sandwiched together with LTAL - they will sound beautifully complimentary to each other. Well done Rob -it was worth waiting all this time for -I hope he's enjoying the reviews and fingers crossed for some decent sales figures ❤️
  12. Loving all these brilliant reviews! That must be gratifying when he's waited so long to release it. Will be listening to it tomorrow ❤️
