it is a strange phenomenon of "fandom" that some seem to feel the need to "lash out" at him (or other artists) when things aren't going well in their own personal lives. It's like a skewed perspective on "you always hurt the ones you love" .

 

If I had the time I would love to study the whole fandom thing and how it fits into the 21st century social media world and why people are drawn to "idols". What's missing in all our lives that we're interested in the lives of strangers and care about them.

How to keep control on it so perspective isn't lost and how to stop before you become an obsessive. It's such an interesting topic. I'd love to study it further.

Keep it all in perspective I say & do not take it too seriously ;)

 

I have met some really nice decent people online so it is possible to keep it real...people trying to get buddies with famous people though & that is another thing , I mean it's not real or possible but I get some folk think it is & that is where the problem lies
