March 5, 201312 yr My ranking for the final: 1. Tell The World I'm Here - Ulrik Munther 2. Skyline - David Lindgren 3. Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream - Louise Hoffsten 4. Copacabanana - Sean Banan 5. Bed On Fire - Ralf Gyllenhammar 6. Begging – Anton Ewald 7. You – Robin Stjernberg 8. Falling - State of Drama 9. Heartbreak Hotel - YOHIO 10. En Riktig Jävla Schlager - Ravaillacz A fairly decent bunch of songs. The Ravaillacz song is the only one I really don't like (I would have replaced it with the Martin Rolinski song). But even thou I do like most of the songs in the final, I do think the only one that has a real chance of doing well in the ESC final is Ulrik Munther's song. Of the three favourites I think YOHIO would be ignored by the juries and Eastern European voters (and maybe even Western) and at best could have a finish similar to The Ark's finish (probably even worse). And I don't see the Europeans really connecting with Ralf's song even thou I do like it. Ulrik's song seems to be the only one that could score big with both the juries and the audiences. It certainly is no Euphoria but a very good song anyway.

March 7, 201312 yr I'm growing more and more obsessed with Bed On Fire, Begging and Falling by the day. The latter is like a proper turn of the century string-laden rock ballad, love it. Praying that one of the first two wins though, Begging is comfortably #1 on iTunes combined but of course this means very little. I'd love it to spring a surprise though, starting to think both andra chansen qualifiers could do very well now! Bed On Fire defines epic and I'll be angry if it joins the likes of Let Your Spirit Fly, Hall Om Mig, (A Little Bit Of Love ), Snalla Snalla and Keep On Walking in the '2nd place is better than the winner' hall of fame behind Yohio.
March 8, 201312 yr I'd be happy with either Bed On Fire or Heartbreak Hotel winning it. Not really interested in the other 8. (although admittedly there's one or two I haven't heard) I'm slightly more for Bed On Fire at the moment.
March 8, 201312 yr They've entered the official Swedish charts this week in the following places; Anton Ewald - #3 Robin Stjernberg - #5 (Behrang Miri) - #8 Sean Banan - #10 Yohio - #12 (Erik/Tone) - #19 Ralf Gyllenhammar - #20 Ulrik Munther - #21 State Of Drama - #26 David Lindgren - #32 (Martin Rolinski) - #37 Ravaillacz - #42 (Janet Leon) - #56 :cheer: Not the usual domination but I guess things take longer to catch on with Spotify completely ruling the chart. Janet grabbing that SMASH, the only one of the DNQ's to make any dent at all on the charts. No love for poor Louise Hoffsten, bless her. Anton and Robin obviously have the Andra Chansen boost but they're both looking like potential top fivers. No doubt whoever wins will vault to #1 here next week or the week after anyway.
March 9, 201312 yr The results from the audience in the dress rehearsal; 1. YOHIO – "Heartbreak Hotel": 30,2 % (244 röster) 2. Anton Ewald – "Begging": 24,8 % (201 röster) 3. Sean Banan – "Copacabanana": 15,5 % (125 röster) 4. Robin Stjernberg – "You": 14,2 % (115 röster) 5. David Lindgren – "Skyline": 9,15 % (74 röster) 6. Ulrik Munther – "Tell the World I'm Here": 7,05 % (57 röster) 7. Ralf Gyllenhammar – "Bed on Fire": 5,81 % (47 röster) 8. Louise Hoffsten – "Only the Dead Fish Follow the Stream": 5,69 % (46 röster) 9. Ravaillacz – "En riktig jävla schlager": 2,97 % (24 röster) 10. State of Drama – "Falling": 1,61 % (13 röster) Piss off Yohio, I'm ALL for Begging smashing to victory if he's the only hope of overhauling Heartbreak Hotel! Neither are probably much more than low top ten-mid-table fare at Eurovision mind. Rather low for Ulrik and Ralf, maybe they won't finish top three after all :o In fact, Robin really seems to have taken Ulrik's momentum away with his similar song in the last few days! I wish Danny had held Amazing back for a year, would have slaughtered Yohio :drama:
March 9, 201312 yr 'Begging' does seem to be picking up a lot of momentum the last couple of weeks both the week before Andra Chansen and this week and this poll result further shows that! I do hope that he can somehow beat Yohio!
March 9, 201312 yr Author A bit not final-related but Queen Af Ugglas' latest album is actually GENUINELY great. I even took my loon glasses off when typing that! The title track is all kinds of *.* Edited March 9, 201312 yr by パーベル
March 9, 201312 yr I would LOVE Anton to win, but he came second in audience votes in the semi, miles ahead of Louise yet only made AC. I guess that points to a YOHIO victory which I'd be fine with.
March 9, 201312 yr If Begging steals a shock victory from either Ralf or YOHIO I am disowning Sweden.
March 9, 201312 yr From ESC Forum: So, by summarising the happenings in the rehearsals, note that the international jury cast their votes based on the first dress rehearsal: - Ulrik's voice wasn't fit in either of the rehearsals. - Ralf forgot the lyrics during the first rehearsal. Neither did his voice fit. - YOHIO broke his voice during the last chorus at the first rehearsal. And Anton's performance was apparently perfect. :o Well, that could makes things interesting...
March 9, 201312 yr Who I hope will win 1. You – Robin Stjernberg 2. Begging – Anton Ewald Good 3. Tell The World I'm Here - Ulrik Munther 4. Skyline - David Lindgren Average 5. Bed On Fire - Ralf Gyllenhammar 6. Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream - Louise Hoffsten Funny 7. En Riktig Jävla Schlager - Ravaillacz Awful 8. Falling - State of Drama 9. Heartbreak Hotel - YOHIO 10. Copacabanana - Sean Banan
March 9, 201312 yr Odds according to a poster on Digital Spy: YOHIO 17/20 Ralf Gyllenhammar 4/1 Anton Ewald 9/2 Ulrik Munther 7/1 Robin Stjenberg 17/2 Louise Hoffsten 25/1 Sean Banan 50/1 State of Drama 66/1 David Lindgren 66/1 Ravaillacz 100/1 Anton and Robin (to a lesser extent) have definitely gained momentum over the last few days! :o Hope one of them can do it!
March 9, 201312 yr I have to miss this, off to a party now. I hope to return to a shock Anton win, but of the '3 horse race' I'll have Ulrik please.
