Posted March 11, 201312 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's playlisted on Radio 1. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. The Script look to have settled in at the top, and it's a static Top 3... poor Olly Murs too, a 4th week at Number 5! I wonder if they can climb again this week but I'm happy it went UK Top 20 at least :) 14 - Yeah, this has really grown on me, so catchy! Yeah, sounds very 60s and Beatles-y! Duet won't even do a Kemosabe, I'll be very surprised if it even goes Top 75 tbh. I think they'll have to wait until their next album for a chance of another hit.
