It is. :( They were climbing yesterday, so it's sad to see them falling again. I really hope they somehow manage to put it back near the top 15.

Hopefully in two weeks time, it's discounted to 59p to ensure they pass 400,000!

I think it's pretty obvious they will pass 400k, maybe just not as fast as we all thought. I mean Up did reach 360k in like 4 years. What About Us is already at 256-295k in 5-6 weeks. Imagine in 4 years! :o

Yeah, it should reach 400,000 eventually, I just thought it would pass it by the end of the year!
it will. they only have to sell like 120,000 copies... and its 24 April 2013. theres like 8 months more of sales.. including the release of two (probable) singles, the birth of a Saturday Jnr, and an album release to all boost...
What About Us has entered the Belgian Bubbling Under Chart. Nothing amazing but it's something
Shouldn't we have the sales from lastweek now? Or did we get them and I just didn't see'em?
Not given in Music Week's report but vidcapper has listed it under the YTD compilation so it sold in the range of 21-22K. :)
So we know who will cover what in the What About Us performance on The Voice. But who will get Rochelle's parts in Issues. I hope it's Frankie and/or Mollie as Una and Vanessa both already have solos in the songs, but I think it will be Una that gets it.

What's all this?!

What's all this?!

Their performing on The Voice final in Ireland.

Daft Punk have sold 102,000 so they should easily defeat The Saturdays' record.

As I said before surely this doesn't count in terms of fastest selling of the year as it already appeared on last weeks chart, unless it just counts the first 7 days. If that's the case then they would have missed out a couple days ago.

How does it not? Saturdays have the record for most sales within a week as nobody has beat 114,000. Daft punk should have around 130,000 sales.

Yes it would be the highest total but not the fastest is what I'm getting at. It's the second chart week for it.

Of course it wil, this is not about first week sales, which Daft Punk most likely also take

It seems anyway that it would need to beat James Arthur's sales in the first week of the year to be the highest selling anyway.

I think Steve may be right as otherwise James Arthur's 184k from the first week of the year would otherwise be the "fastest selling single of the year" as it is the highest sales for a song in a week in 2013. We'll see anyway!

EDIT: What Steve has just said! :kink:

Yes the Sats record is safe because Daft Punk have already chart therefore they are not elidgable to beat What About Us in its second week because that wouldn't be the 'fastest selling single' now would it? That would just be the highest selling single in one sales week. What About Us remain the fastest. Case closed.
It's funny. Who would have thought. The Saturdays & Fastest first week sales go hand in hand :D charted at 20 in Ireland this week. It really will be shameful if the Saturdays chart lower than that in the UK this week.

They didn't really chart in Belgium though

The ultratip is just a bubbling under chart, where even Little Mix reached top 10 with sales outside the top 100

Songs will move up, eventhough there sales won't, until a certain point of course
