Notorious is their most critically acclaimed song?! Seriously?! Is this common knowledge?

Well it did get crazy good reviews from what I remember, especially compared to their other material, however Up was more critically acclaimed after it was released surely?

19th biggest song this year on radio, hopefully it goes top 15! 2nd biggest song on TV airplay. I'm hoping they manage to pass 400,000 sales this year as it would be incredible to see them in the EOY top 40 on Radio1.

Rolling 7 Day Airplay

Radio Airplay #18

Television Airplay #36

Irish Airplay #23 (This seems to be their second biggest Irish hit also)

German Airplay #68

Their Irish airplay run has been pretty fantastic. Not the highest of peaks but very stable:

71-57-37-27-23-15-14-16-17-16-17-19-20-21-20

Not too bad, it didin't get a decent weekend effect... expecting a drop to around #68-71 this week.

#76 on iTunes :(

All I can remember is the whole "That's not a chorus! There is NO chorus!" yadadadada

Sold 343,000 now, therefore it must have sold 5,000 this week.

#74 on iTunes.

I'm guessing it'll leave the top 100 on 360,000 (if it's lucky).

It should easily leave the top 100 if 'Gentleman' provides 'What About Us' with a decent boost, I'd still reduce the song top 59p now, to get 10,000+ sales (over the two weeks) and a re-entry to the top 40.

If they manage to pass 400,000 sales they should EASILY receive their first brit nomination,'What About Us' is currently the 5th most played song on UK radio this year by british artists.

Do you know what needs to occur for it to be reduced? Do the label have to request iTunes or something along the lines of that? They should if they're given the opportunity, especially since they're edging nearer to the Gold mark.

I think it's a bit of both, I think iTunes hand pick some songs to be reduced for 59p, but I know labels automatically reduce their song to 59p (Paramore - Still Into You etc). I tweeted Polydor the other week about the 59p and they said it was a great idea, if it's reduced within the next 2 weeks... it will certainly leave the top 100 with around 375,000.

At least it's recovered from free falling to#76 last night and is now #67

#62 when multiple versions are removed, hopefully it only drops around 5 places at maximum this week and manages another 4,000.

Is it because of gentleman that it's dropping on radii & tv now? or is it because it's low on the charts?
Probably not; I think its just started the process where its chart life begins to end :)

#44 New Zealand

#72 United Kingdom

#78 Ireland

#98 Germany

#111 Cyprus

#178 United Arab Emirates

#234 Austria

#240 Lithuania

#249 Switzerland

#336 South Africa

#353 Hungary

Dropped out of New Zealand chart.

Dropped from #48 to #71 in Ireland.

I know it is not the most reliable source but according to Wikipedia this got to #3 in Hungary
