Posted April 13, 201312 yr So Duke looks sets to sell around 60-65k this week so will likely decline further next week and looking at the new releases I don't think any will be massive sellers so considering the funeral (and likely coverage of the songs in the papers and social media) is next week could we see a Ding Dong and I Love Thatcher battle for 1 and 2 and who do you think will win
April 13, 201312 yr looking at the new releases I don't think any will be massive sellers Rudimental and will.i.am say hi :hi: I think Waiting All Night will be next weeks #1.
April 13, 201312 yr No chance both of these will be contenders. The campaign will die down just after their chart positions are announced on Sunday, and that will be it with "normal" songs gearing up to #1.
April 13, 201312 yr Author Current position ding dong- 1 on itunes and 1, 36, 141 on amazon i love thatcher- 2 on amazon and 6 on itunes
April 13, 201312 yr I say both tracks will be top 5, there is no chance of them been #1, people are aware of them now, I don't think they be downloading them in masses after Weds.
April 14, 201312 yr I wouldn't underestimate the power of the funeral but yea seems unlikely that either of them could be #1.
April 14, 201312 yr I'd imagine both will get a boost on the funeral day, but I think they'll peak this week
April 14, 201312 yr Ding Dong will need a very strong boost from the funeral to even stay Top 10 - which I think it might just. I predict that I Love Thatcher will end up with a small climb.
April 15, 201312 yr Hopefully neither will be number one, well maybe I Love Thatcher would be a bit more respectful than Ding Dong I'm hoping for Will.I.Am to be number one but I think Rudimental are a strong contender too. Pitbull is also climbing up the iTunes chart but I'm not sure if he will reach number one, probably top 5 by end of week I'd say
April 15, 201312 yr Yeah, pretty sure anyone who could be influenced into buying either record they really don't want or need will have done so by now.
