WTF did this Daft Punk song come from?! :o

I didn't even know ithe song existed until I saw it at #1 on iTunes this morning!

Where have you been for the last 2 months? It's been hinted at, we got a 15 second clip in March...the internet has been going mental in anticipation of this song for about 2 months.

In vidcapper's defence, he is pretty much clueless when it comes to modern music.

I will admit I didn't think it'd make quite the splash it has.

18. How Ya Doin'? (feat. Missy Elliott) - Little Mix

39. Keep Your Head Up - Ben Howard

46. Play Hard (feat. Ne-Yo & Akon) - David Guetta

Ben Howard could actually get a third top 40 hit if he can keep up his current momentum! Surprised to see it taking off a bit now after stalling in the low top 100 for the past 4 weeks or so.

And it looks like 'Play Hard' will keep up Guetta's top 20 streak after all too, I thought its single release had come and went without it even re-entering the top 100 but obviously not as it's only getting radio support and climbing iTunes now.

What do you think guys? The hype comes from Daft Punk's back story, Pharrell is just a 'supporting act', right? I mean he is not that important for this success, I think.
Play Hard is pretty good but if it could just disappear and let Better Off Alone re-enter instead then that would be great!
Wow. Just heard Gamu's (from the X factor) new single! I love it! Hope it does well on release.

Think the success really shows the power of the internet. They're a hipster band, but they're also extremely accessible to everyone. I'd say 80% of people aged 18-30 could name a Daft Punk song. Pharrell obviously helps, but he's no way near the reason why the song has exploded. Basically there's just so much excitement and buzz for them across the world from social media.

Thanks for your feedback. :P
I agree I could see Loveable Rogues getting top 5, definitely top 10 I think!
