April 30, 201312 yr I'll listen to this when I get home. I'm optimistic going by all the descriptions I read, I really wasn't a fan of their last album at all. :(
April 30, 201312 yr This is their best in a long time, there last few singles and albums did nothing for me and i felt they had lost their magic. Axis makes a promising start to the new album.
April 30, 201312 yr Im undecided on this, it has great beats and is like a good dance song but hardly any vocals from Neil which makes it very un Pet Shop Boys. I hope it does wel for them as it is a good single.
April 30, 201312 yr This is certainly different from what we are used to from the Pet Shop Boys, I agree with Aphrodite about the lack of a vocal. Very catchy tune and I love the video, it fitted very well with the title of the song.
April 30, 201312 yr BRILLIANT! I did worry they'd lost the plot with their last project, but they're truly back with this.
May 1, 201312 yr They didn't lost the plot, imo, Elysium was very PSB, just a bit mediocre as a whole but there were some brilliant songs (A Face Like That, Memory of the Future, Leaving...) But as said above, this is brilliant and looking forward to the album even more now.
May 1, 201312 yr It doesn't sound like a PSB single but it does sound interesting. It reminds me of Kraftwerk in many respects. The vocals, the three note hooks, the chords.
May 4, 201312 yr lame as hell... shame, as there is some promising moments within it, but all completely sabotaged by that stock trumpet sound ugh just atrocious and what the HELL at the dancing animal head bits??? cringeee :(
