They might as well make use of the queens abscense..........I mean it is a holiday after all :rolleyes:

One would think that the girls' blooming families would keep them from pursuing their musical aspirations, but the Queen has been hard at work creating stay at home husbands to take care of the children. First Ben's rugby "accident" and now the sudden breakup of JLS. Brilliant.

Urgh, it really frustrates me with their campaign with On Your Radar. Get Ready, Get Set was screaming for a release. Last Call would have been the perfect way to end the album :wub:

It's so weird right? For a lot of artists the obvious selection for singles never see the light. You'd think there'd be other issues surrounding their possible release. In terms of decision making, Wordshaker and On Your Radar deserved to flop.

I wouldn't say On Your Radar deserved to flop, I liked that they released Notorious, All Fired Up & My Heart Takes Over, I'm just disappointed that they gave up on the album so easily!

I didn't mean the single releases........the entire campaign as a whole was disastrous.

I know this late but just wanted to show appreciation for Vanessa's recent nailing of the Ego middle 8 during their last Dublin gig. Obviously not a patch on her earlier performances but she's really improved over the last year or so. :)

 

 

I think she sounds good! :cheer: Her voice hits the notes now, but it's how it sounds that matters me. She sounds SCARED. Literally scared. And somehow that's quite weird. I know she must have lot of pression on her shoulders because it's a hard part to sing and she has to pull it off, but sometimes, it just surprises me how much she looks and sounds scared anytime she has to do something vocally demanding. The feeling is understandble, it's just how much she let it show. I guess she doesn't really control that.

 

Although, even when she's only singing simple verses, she looks preoccupied. :unsure: Hands in her hair, trying to smile because she's a popstar and she has to pull off a certain image on stage, yet she can't help but think about how she sounds, making her sound nervous and all.... :/

 

To me, recently, she has zero confidence and stage presence most of the time because of that. :/

Vanessa's always been like that.. She's always played with her hair, it's one of the things I love about her :wub:

That's not the hand thing itself that bugs me. She only does that because she's nervous, and THAT bugs me. She will try to smile here and here so that people thinks she's al good, but you can see how much she's actually listening to her voice through her ear piece everytime, and it just makes her even more nervous because she probably thinks "Am I singing this right?" and sometimes it's just awful to watch. Although, fair enough, Una's awkwardness is the same lol!
