Belarus hosting? First of all, I don't think they can manage that, second of all, even though it'd be super easy for me to travel there next year, I don't want to, and third of all, Belarus will never win :D

And fourthly Minsk is dull as fuсk with David Cameron and I wouldn't give them a hug of luck even just because of that!

Does anyone know of a good link to watch live online? My house doesn't have a TV and I couldn't possibly go without my annual Eurovision fix :o (before forgetting about it totally until next years final)

I've not heard anything in particular about it this year, all I know is that Bonnie Tyler and Cascada are competing. I haven't even listened to our entry yet, at least we're not anongst the first on I guess.

This year I'm going to watch Eurovision with a friend via the Russian TV. :D Just for the lolz of their commentaries. They're so ignorant, pseudo-patriotic, snobby etc. etc. etc. that I can't stop laughing!

*already waiting for a 5 minutes appreciation of Dina Garipova by our Channel 1*

ikr.

'Anouk' was so great not wasting money on anything, not even backing vocalists'. ERM GURL THERE WERE 3 OF THEM BYE

The performances have just finished in the final dress rehearsal, biggest cheers went to Finland, Germany, Romania, UK (:cheer: they all love Bonnie in here!), Sweden (obvs), Denmark, Greece and Norway.

Cascada cut a bit of the first verse out instead of the instrumental after the chorus, it sounds WAY better now. Belarus cocked up massively and took about a minute to start because of their discoball thing not working, hope that doesn't happen later!

Loreen was incredible and did a medley of We Got The Power, My Heart Is Refusing Me and Euphoria, phenomenal![

The interval act is probably the best thing I've ever seen! Carola

What about Anouk?

Apparently we're getting a VIDEO OF BONNIE TYLER instead of the interval :manson:

Those broadcasters are getting out of hand.

Hopefully it's not the whole interval act we are missing,

I just want to see Loreen!

My final prediction for the winner is Azerbaijan, but I hope I'm wrong and Germany or Denmark win!
Has Azerbaijan had any buzz really?! Compared to Denmark, Norway, Germany or even Ukraine & Georgia it would be a total non-event of a winner.

From what I've been reading on other forums plus the massive rise in the odds, Azerbaijan seems to have the most momentum to me. It would be a decent winner, but there are several better songs!

Anyway, Eurovision is already one of the top Twitter trends in the UK! :cheer:

The staging is what is making people think Azerbaijan is going to win, surely? The song's decent, but it's clearly nothing on "Drip Drop" and "Running Scared" *.*

Yeah, the staging is incredible. Enough to get people to notice the song.
I'll give it the staging even though I find it slightly creepy. The song pales compared to everything else they've sent. I'm firmly behind Denmark.
The song is nice and I wouldn't mind it coming top ten, but I'd be miffed if it wins. Running Scared was such a shite winner and this wouldn't be any better.

I'd be surprised at Azerbaijan winning - I know it's not how the contest works, and sounds cynical of me, but I just can't see them winning twice in three years. The staging really isn't ground breaking either, it's nice and effective, but it's nothing that'd make me stand up and be like WHOA.

Still think it's Denmark's to lose, and sorry to sound like a broken record but if Norway is it's main competition, then please please please Denmark.

It's going to be really interesting to see where all the Balkan votes go to this evening. Hungary and Romania might soak up a few.
