My Favourite Game is a great slice of MOR! I didn't realise it missed the top 10 :o

Not a big fan of Roxette, but the DHT cover of Listen To Your Heart is great!

As much as I loved the first couple of Cardigans album, I much preferred their sound from Gran Turismo onwards. Such a great album.

Good to see Always Have Always Will on the list, fabulous track, possibly my favourite from Ace of Base.

2 great tracks from Roxette, I love their earlier material, and another favourite track from the Cardigans, their earlier material was so gone.

58. ANTIDOTE- Swedish House Mafia Vs Knife Party (174,800)

Formed as a side project by former members of Pendulum, Knife party here cosy up to dance giants Swedish House mafia and provide them with their lowest selling single. Written by Axwell, Ingresso, and Angello it was another track to feature a heavily edited promo version fearing the censor, it was however in and out of the charts quickly.

'Antidote' *.* Deserved to be so much bigger.

Assuming 'Hoppípolla' has missed out of this then? :(

The first Eurovision entry to make our top 3 since Katrina and the Waves in 1997 and the first foreign entry to do the same since Johnny Logan in 1987, it also spent 18 weeks in total at the top of various Nordic charts. It was Sweden’s fifth victory in the contest in all and first since 1999’s “Take Me To Your Heaven” which sadly isn’t on the list.

56. I HAVE A DREAM- Abba (187,000)

A nice piece of marketing here, Abba played Wembley in late 79 and produced a “Gatefold” sleeve as a kind of souvenir for UK fans along with a live version of “Take A Chance On Me” on the b-side. It made No 2 in time to see the 70s out and continued to sell well in 1980, reasonable download sales have assisted here.

Swedish House Mafia and Loreen appearing together  Great to see that all 6 SHM songs made it. I assume we'll be seeing Save The World from them shortly.

Euphoria should've been a lot bigger than it was, the UK must've been one of a handful of European countries where it didn't hit #1.

Victoria Bergsman later returned to the top 40 as Taken By Trees with her cover of 'Sweet Child O' Mine' for the John Lewis ad. Fun fact.

And was often listed incorrectly (as Gezza's post in this thread) as Victoria Bergman. (without the 's')

As per the reference to The Concretes, I picked up a copy of their "in Colour" CD for 50p in a car boot sale recently, and very good laid back pop is is too.

Euphoria :cheer: Radio 1 playlisting would have made it so much bigger...ah well, top 3 is still amazing. As for The Cardigans, a classic. And Nina Persson was gorgeous back in 1998, not that she's not now but her style/makeup during that era was so captivating.

The only Bond theme to feature here, this left a rather strained mark on the relationship between John Barry and the band. They insisted he had little input into the creative process and shouldn’t receive a credit on the track, Barry did however contribute to the production of the track and it was this version that was used on the film, the band’s own version appeared on the album “Stay On These Roads”.

A slice of prime Diane Warren/ Albert Hammond songwriting here and given to a certain Tina Turner who used it as a b-side to her 1986 single “Typical Male”. That single failed to make the top 30 but did turn into a No 1 single in 1988 for Aswad and subsequently a top 5 hit for Ace Of Base in 94 as the final release from their debut album.

Consolidating the band’s image as utilisers of cutting edge graphics, at least at the beginning of their career, this had another eye catching promo with Morten Harket morphing into various animals. It served as their fourth single from the album of the same name and has been covered by Coldplay in their live set.

LOVE "Hunting High & Low" and "Don't Turn Around". "The Living Daylights", not as much, but still alright.
