So the season isn't even completely over yet and moves are being talked up.

Surely Rooney is on his way this summer, Falaco looks destined to leave Athletico. I expect this summer there will quite a fair few purchases as always, but not so sure everyone will be going for 2/3 marquee signings.

Kolo Toure looks set for a switch to Liverpool.

Don't think Rooney will leave, as there's only down after United and he'll do his usual u-turn.

Expect Cavani to sign for Chelsea & maybe Falcao to City, depending which manager goes where.

Falcao looked to be going to Monaco until a couple of days ago but that's died down now.

West Ham seem to be attempting a monopoly of the BBC Football page - bid accepted for Carroll, already signed Razvan Rat and releasing Carlton Cole.

There has also been 10 exits from Norwich City. Simeon Jackson is the most high profile of the departures.

Fulham have signed Derek Boateng and Fernando Amorebieta on free transfers. In addition, Riether has signed permanently after a season long loan.

Norwich signed Van Wolswinkel as well, which crept under the radar slightly. Can't see him being there for longer than 2 years though.

That deal was done so long ago, I had forgotten about that one.

Jerome Thomas and Gonzalo Jara have been released by West Brom. and talks are due to be held later this summer with Zoltan Gera and Steven Reid to renew their contracts.

City have just signed Fernandinho for £30, add this to Navas earlier in the week.

Their signings are going out about in the right direction, just not sure they're the right players.

Navas is a perfect signing for them, being a genuine winger which they've not really got. Nasri and Silva are more inverted, and Milner is a tremendous worker and asset to them, but is entirely different. As good a player as Fernandinho is, I'm not sure City need him, I can't imagine either him or Toure thriving in a pair.

Andrei Arshavin has been released by Arsenal.

No surprise there, he's been shit for 2/3 years now. Lost his pace completely. There's definitely a player in there still though, just not a Premier League one.

We are being linked in Metro with Mario Gomez for £7m

It must be some sort of typo, Gomez is worth at least £25m

You know football has gone completely mad when a club pays £30m for a 28 year old with FIVE caps for Brazil, utterly ridiculous

I think the source 'Metro' says it all really!!!

It could have legs to it though. Just not sure he's the type of striker you need.

Great scoring record in Germany and players who have done well in Germany have traditionally done pretty well here.

Demba Ba, Cisse (first season anyway), Klinsmann, Dzeko, Sigurdsson to name a few

I think of all the leagues in Europe the Bundesliga is the closest to ours in style.

It wouldn't surprise me if West Ham try to purchase Ashavain, who I still think is a decent player.

In Spl news, Dundee United seem to have sold Johnny Russell To Derby, but we seem to be getting David Goodwillie on loan from Blackburn.

Excellent player, but I would have thought Spurs would have be after a more well rounded striker, at least I always got that impression with AVB's style the way he likes to play.

If Arshavin has any sense he'll take his reported 400,000 a week day day in Azerbijan!

What team do you support?

True there

The 2 AVB wants badly according to our top ITK is David Villa and Benteke, Benteke is a mobile version of Adebayor and Villa can play the wide side of a front 3
