July 29, 201311 yr What's Bale going to be on, though? He is on 85,000 a week here at Spurs If and its a big if, he goes, he would probably be on double that at Real
July 29, 201311 yr Carlisle need to get cracking in the transfer market. We need a goalkeeper, we only have the goalkeeping coach as back up to Gillespie. We have acquired a midfielder (Amoo), a striker (Guy) and a defender on loan from Manchester United (James).
July 29, 201311 yr We are punching above our weight, we have one of the smallest stadiums in the premiership, 35k capacity yet in last 3 seasons we have 2010/11 - Made QF of Champions League including beating both Milan sides along the way 2011/12 - Finished 4th in the Premiership, ahead of Chelsea the highest net spenders in premiership history 2012/13 - Finished 1 point behind Arsenal who have a 67k stadium with our 35k So for 3 years running we have made CL or cruelly missed out by a hairs breadth and there is no reason why we should not be fighting with Arsenal/Chelsea again this season We have bought the Brazillian Frank Lampard in Paulinho amazing goalscoring stats for a CM We are about to buy one of the best strikers in Europe in Soldado We have bought Chadli who averages nearly 1 goal per 3 games as a winger Sandro has resumed training and looks fitter than ever We have a brilliant young manager in AVB Arsenal have bought? - no one ;) Chelsea have bought a young german who may or may not be any good We have a great chance of making 3rd this season and with City rebuilding and doubts about how Moyes will handle the Utd job never say never...... Bale would be stark raving bonkers to go With all due respect Craig it's very easy as fans to dress up our team of choice. Just out of interest, aside from YouTube how much have you actually seen of Chadli and Paulinho in realtime footballing situations? If you're actually trying to justify Bale turning down Real Madrid solely on the grounds of him currently being a Spurs player, sadly I think it's you who's stark raving bonkers.

If you're actually trying to justify Bale turning down Real Madrid solely on the grounds of him currently being a Spurs player, sadly I think it's you who's stark raving bonkers. Never seen Chadli play but the company I work for Holland is our 2nd biggest market after Germany and Dutch people have spoken to about him give very positive feedback indeed, plus he was bought on the recommendation of Vertonghen and Dembele who play with him in the national team Paulinho I had never seen play till the confederations cup but he looked sharp and physical, again he was bought on the recommendation of a player, Sandro, his CM partner in the national side. Even if Bale wanted to go there is Levy to contend with for Real Madrid
July 31, 201311 yr On what planet is Sandro now a regular starter for Brazil? He has been out for 9 months with a torn cruciate ligament, of course he will have not played for Brazil in that time but at the time of his injury he was the first choice DM for Brazil national team and will be when he returns
July 31, 201311 yr No, he was first choice under the old coach who'd frozen out all but four of their players over 23 years old, including Gustavo and Ramires. Edited July 31, 201311 yr by RabbitFurCoat
August 13, 201311 yr sad see albert adomah leave for middlesborough but we needed the money. Heard we are spending it on nakhi wells and a centreback. Edited August 13, 201311 yr by pwned
August 13, 201311 yr Hull are apparently closing in on the signings of Tom Huddlestone (permanent) and Jake Livermore (season-long loan), both from Tottenham.
August 14, 201311 yr Author Suarez apparently staying with Liverpool now and signing a new contract, probably this time with an release clause for next summer :D
August 14, 201311 yr Neil danns to bristol city is the rumour going around at the moment. What an attack then for us. Fielding Moloney flint williams cunningham Wynter elliott Danns Wagstaff jet Baldock
September 2, 201311 yr Don't see it tbh Levy and AVB are both adamant, AVB publicly as recent as today, that Bale will not be sold under any circumstances Levy is the toughest negotiator in world football probably and doesn't like losing face so unless Bale goes on strike, and there are no signs he will, then he will definitely stay Plus Bale has recently signed a 7 figure deal to be the public face of BT Sport for their football coverage, not a sign of a man about to up sticks to La Liga, not to mention he is on the cover of the new FIFA game, not to mention fact he has recently become a father. There has been nothing apart from Harry loving Spurs hating tabloids stirring the pot :) http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/69601000/jpg/_69601621_69602045.jpg :basil: Sakho is a damn good signing for Liverpool. We seem to be attempting to assemble Italy's 2006 strikeforce.
September 2, 201311 yr Bale is gonna be earning some serious P. I read that he's gonna be on £300,000 a week :o :drama:
September 2, 201311 yr Oh dear at West Brom... Offloading Shane Long to Hull City with their replacement being Victor Anichebe from Everton! (Not fully confirmed yet) Lukaku has been linked with both West Brom & Everton.
September 2, 201311 yr That's their best three players (certainly 3 of 4 anyhow) from last season gone, they're doomed.
September 3, 201311 yr Author Mesut Ozil. Deal of the transfer window. Great signing, but an appeasement. He's not what Arsenal needed. Absolutely mad transfer window. Everton did brilliant getting Barry, Lukaku and McCarthy. Sakho is a great buy from Liverpool, truly opportunism at its best. What a mess Manchester United though. Absolute shambles from a PR point of view. I think Fellanini will be great for them, under Moyes. I get serious Liverpool and Roy Hodgson vibes with Manchester United at the moment. Just like Liverpool with Dempsey last season, the problems can be rectified in January, but it might already be too late for this season. The Bale deal is sensational. Still think Tottenham will miss him massively, they've bought no-one to fill his gap. Lamela possibly, but not this season at least.
September 9, 201311 yr I had a go at ranking Premier League clubs transfer windows... 01 Norwich 02 Swansea 03 Liverpool 04 Man City 05 Arsenal 06 Spurs 07 Aston Villa 08 Everton 09 Hull 10 Southampton 11 West Ham 12 Fulham 13 Cardiff 14 Stoke 15 Crystal Palace 16 Chelsea 17 Sunderland 18 West Brom 19 Man Utd 20 Newcastle
