Posted May 21, 201312 yr http://charts.spotify.com/ The Wall Street Journal reports that Spotify is launching its own charts called the Spotify 50 (below) and Social 50, listing the most-streamed and most-shared songs across its entire library. The charts can be easily embedded in websites, and contain links to stream the music they contain. They can also switch between Spotify's 28 regions on the fly and display data from past weeks, with the numbers updating each Monday around noon EST. http://cdn.thenextweb.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2013/05/Spotify1-730x383.jpg Here's an idea that Apple might consider: ITUNES to come out with the number of SALES on a weekly basis on all Itunes countries. That would be SWEET!!!! Edited May 22, 201312 yr by Dust2

May 21, 201312 yr Fantastic news! But overall, I think this data proves that the U.S. is #1 in terms of streaming, with Korea second, and Sweden third. Edited May 21, 201312 yr by Ne Plus Ultra
May 22, 201312 yr Author Fantastic news! But overall, I think this data proves that the U.S. is #1 in terms of streaming, with Korea second, and Sweden third. Imagine if Spotify is as popular in the USA as it is in Sweden..... If I remember correctly, Spotify generates more than half the recorded music revenue in Sweden.
