You think? Still think it sounds brillantly simple and unique!

Yes. I thought it was brilliant when it first came out, and then it had too much airplay and sounded horrible after a while. Urgh.

It still gives me goosebumps when i see the video and the chart run was legendary!!

No way Gotye has badly aged...for me RiRi WFL has aged badly because of genre and because of other thousand songs that came after it with the same sound...Tulisa, Cheryl, Ne-Yo etc etc.

My ranking here:

Good :

Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe = 6.5 / 10

Matt Cardle - When We Collide = 6 / 10

Ed Sheeran - The A Team = 6 / 10

Listenable :

James Arthur - Impossible = 5.5 / 10

Bruno Mars - Just the Way You Are = 5 / 10

Adele - Someone Like You = 4.5 / 10

Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger = 4 / 10

Bad / very bad :

Jessie J / B.o.B - Price Tag = 3 / 10

David Guetta / Sia - Titanium = 2.5 / 10

PSY - Gangnam Style = 2 / 10

Fun / Janelle Monae - We Are Young = 2 / 10

Kill me please, I don't want listen these songs anymore :

Eminem / Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie = 1.5 / 10

Gotye / Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know = 1 / 10

Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) = 0.5 / 10

LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem = 0 / 10

Rihanna / Calvin Harris - We Found Love = 0 / 10

Shouldn't "Fight For This Love" be in the list?

It came out in the 2000s.

I imagine if Gotye wasn't there then The A Team would have a handful of votes.

Only realized that this was a list of songs from the 2010s; hence the title of the topic. It's been a slow morning.

I went for "Only Girl".

Eminem for me, with Gotye, Guetta and most of them tied for 2nd tbh

I like all of these.

The only two I personally listen to are Love the Way You Lie and Somebody That I Used to Know.

Most of the rest are pretty average tbh (which is probably WHY they're million-sellers ). We Are Young is probably my next favourite. Gangnam Style too mainly because of its iconic music video and the memories. Only Girl, Price Tag and Titanium I liked on first listen, but Only Girl I got bored of quickly and Titanium I didn't really like anymore by the time it actually started its proper chart run. Someone Like You I appreciate as a song, but I never find myself wanting to listen to it.

It's aged pretty badly for me as well, and I didn't like it in the first place. When I heard it was produced by Calvin Harris, I was expecting a song that actually had a chorus! The extent to which this song gets played certain radio stations, even today, is completely uncalled for imo.

There's no massive personal favourites for me here, but that's mainly because all of them have just been very, very overplayed. We Are Young is probably my favourite, We Found Love, Call Me Maybe, Titanium & Moves Like Jagger also still sound really good.

The one one I really dislike here is Love The Way You Lie - I'm surprised its got 5 votes, it hasn't aged well at all. (I know I hated it at the time as well, but even so)

'Titanium' has this for me.

I used to find 'We Found Love' really average, but in recent times I've really grown to appreciate it for the masterpiece it is.
