:cheer:

These 3 singles are amazing and more deserved # 1s, than "Better Off Alone"

(although I don't really care if it went to #1 or #11, it's just that saying that those songs were better is actually incomprehensible)

Cheeky Girls - The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) was kept off #1 by Eminem, Blue, and Girls Aloud (2 wks).

Madonna - Crazy For You was kept off #1 by Sister Sledge in 1985, and by The Simpsons and The Clash in 1991 (the latter week being an all re-issue top 2).

Maybe, but Alex's point is valid, they were better than "Better Off Alone".

Agreed. Better Off Alone was so bad...

You can love them, you can hate them, but Westlife is the best male group ever.

Pet Shop Boys - Go West was held at number 2 by Culture Beat's Mr Vain and DJ Jazzy Jeff's Boom! Shake the Room.

Right, I call troll. Or Charis.

Going back to someone's earlier point about Eminem being brought forward, it reminded me of the incongruity of "Vertigo" being the download #1 for about eight weeks yet being a relative let down on physicals (especially given its genre). Both it and "Beautiful Day" are more highly remembered than their sales suggest actually.

Erm.....no.

Erm.....yes.

It sounds like a primary school music project.

It is nowhere near as bad as Ronan Keating or Westlife though.

"Better Of Alone" is not bad song, but I prefer Geri, Ronan, Westlife as UK # 1 singles.

And the others don't...

Obviously it deserved the #1 more since it outsold all of them

It does. It's Fisher Price trance with a totally unnecessary vocal that makes it even worse.

It's still better than those other three though.

1. Here is only the one male band in the world, which was MILES popular, than Westlife. It's The Beatles, but...

I like most Westlife songs, so personally for me they are all-time # 1 pop group.

But popular doesn't equal best.

But popular doesn't equal best.

Usually the term "popular" is very equal with "the best" [it was true for long music charts history, before Internet era]

Especially if we talk about the artists from the one music genre. (For simple : Pop)

Before Internet era : popular music was very near with the best quality [especially if we talk about any one music genre]

Or, translated, baa.

Is it about my wrong English ? :(

My post was edited. Hope, that you understand my thought / opinion after this small correction. :)
