August 28, 201311 yr Author Tijana Dapčević has been revealed as the representative for FYR Macedonia in 2014! MRT has just officially announced that they have selected Tijana Dapčević to represent Macedonia in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest! Even though she lives in Serbia, Tijana is of Macedonian origin. Her sister Tamara represented Macedonia back in 2008 together with Adrian and Vrčak with the song “Let Me Love You”. Tijana tried to represent Serbia & Montenegro in 2006 with the song “Greh” when she finished 8th in this national final. Tijana is a big star in the former Yugoslav countries, as she won many festivals in all Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia, some of these include the Serbian Radio Festival, Budva festival, Sunčane Skale in Herceg Novi etc. She sold numerous albums, and her songs charted as number one in all of the ex-Yugoslav countries. http://escxtra.com/2013/08/tijana-dapcevic...sent-macedonia/
November 17, 201311 yr Author Tijana Dapčević, who was revealed as the entrant for FYR Macedonia back in August, has revealed that her song will be called Pobeda. Pobeda, which can be translated as ‘Victory’, will be sung in Macedonian only according to Tijana. She also revealed the song will be uptempo, which will show her energy in the right way. She added she also likes to sing ballads, but thinks uptempo is the way to go for Copenhagen: she wants a party on stage. Furthermore, it has been revealed that FYR Macedonia will present Pobeda on 15 January. Tijana will bring two backing vocals to Copenhagen. Both of those are already familiar with Eurovision. Leontina Vukomanović was the lyricist of the 2004 Serbia and Montenegro entry, Lane Moje. The second backing vocalist will be Tijana’s sister, Tamara Todevska, who represented FYR Macedonia back in 2008 together with Vrčak and Adrian Gaxha, singing Let Me Love You. http://escxtra.com/2013/11/tijana-dapcevic-to-sing-pobeda/

January 25, 201411 yr Aww, I was looking forward to the irony of Macedonia sending a song called 'Victory'. Wise decision for them to go in English with this year's Balkan exodus though.
