August 24, 200618 yr I doubt there is such a thing We are the only planet with sufficient oxygen and sunlight to sustain life Its possible some plants or something might exist elsewhere but intelligent lifeform could not exist outside of earth
August 24, 200618 yr I doubt there is such a thing We are the only planet with sufficient oxygen and sunlight to sustain life Its possible some plants or something might exist elsewhere but intelligent lifeform could not exist outside of earth so you believe that in the infinite universe the earth is, has been, and always will be the only planet that could support life? nah... laws of probability m8, they alread have discovered planets with atmospheres and even within our own solar system theres that moon of jupiter (forget which one) that has an ocean under the ice surface where they think primitive life could exist. they have also discovered that comets contain amino acids, which under the right conditions (like on earth billions of years ago) could trigger evolution. life of some sort is inevitable somewhere in the universe, and even highly developed life like us is possible/probable. we would probably never meet any alien life forms though, as the distances between stars is astronomical! lol, the nearest star is 4 light years away, so it would take us 4 years to get too even if we could travel at the speed of light..... we can get nowhere near that, plus the speed of light is the fastest anything could travel without distorting time.... so be content, for all intents and purposes we are alone, the universe might be teaming with life but we will never be able to visit them or they us, unless a way of traveling faster then light is found.
October 23, 200618 yr I think it's highly probable that intelligent life does exist somewhere in the universe, and they've more than likely taken one look at us and said to themselves "what a bunch of silly fukkers, still arguing about religion and politics. And BLOODY HELL, they actually go around polluting their own planet!!!!???? We're having nowt to do with those barely evolved shaved monkeys....." :lol: :lol: In all seriousness though, if you were a highly evolved, intelligent being with the capability to design a spacecraft capable of light-speed, you would take one look at the denizens of earth and at our history which is full of the bloodiest, most hellish violence and aggression, and you would give our entire planet a very wide berth indeed....

October 24, 200618 yr its so obvious theres aliens. there has to be. although, that moon of jupiter sadly does not have an ocean under the ice, it was spectulated to but actually it only has sand dunes
