So 'When She Was Mine' went top 5. Quite surprised and pleased with that. Just wait until you hear the next single though - it's called 'Taking Over Me' and was played for the first time on In Demand radio tonight. It's probably even better than the last single and it has this epic 'OOOOH WOOOOOH' bit on it - it's released 29th July. Album to follow after that!

Taking Over Me is definitely better than When She Was Mine, I really think everything about this band is completely spot on except the music itself which is just average to me.

'Taking Over Me' was 'Song of the Day' on Popjustice yesterday...I've actually decided this is my favourite single of the year so far now. Who can deny that chorus?

Now these guy's are good! Found by Ashley Tabor again, he is definitely onto a winner...Great A&R guy's behind these!

Looking forward to hearing what these guys have come up with on the song that Gary Barlow wrote with them

When She Was Mine was a total yawnfest, but Taking Over Me is GREAT! It's like one of those proper 90s sing along pop rock songs, like BBMak or something. It came up as a YouTube advert the other day. I think this could be a #1, or at least another top 5.

 

That said, they could use one or two incredibly hot guys.

I think what's going for them is that they're actually a lot more personable than The Wanted and have way better songs than them. I've heard the majority of their demos and they're all really promising!

The single's out on Sunday then...I'd really love them to get number 1 with this but I do worry about those Wiley and Calvin Harris/Example records (which for some inexplicable reason are both popular). They did quite a good performance of this on T4 at the weekend just gone, hopefully they'll do a bit more TV next week for it...they're doing some signings at HMV Newcastle and HMV Sheffield next week too I believe...

 

EDIT: Apparently they're on 'This Morning' next Wednesday performing!

Out in Ireland and already at #6 with the EP on their iTunes album charts and #67 on their main songs chart. I really want this to be number 1!

Really good second choice of single. Should go top10 easily. Can't wait for their album. They remind me a bit of Scouting for Girls!!

#11 on iTunes and the EP's #3 :) I'd so love a number 1 but I have a feeling everyone will be flocking to that Wiley record - ironic when the weather's anything but a heatwave atm!

#2 in midweeks...so not too far off what I was predicting! Hope it stays there for Sunday or at least #3 :)

It was #3 in the midweeks on Wednesday. Down to #5 on iTunes, so I'm guessing a #3 or #4 come Sunday. Think Red Lights' surge has come too late in the week to make them dip further than that.

Officially the highest new entry at #3 this week! Went one better than 'When She Was Mine'...so proud of them. They announced on Radio 1 tonight that they're doing a tour in November - will definitely be going to that!
