Posted July 3, 201312 yr Now that I dont see any RIHANNA songs inside the Top100 on iTunes... I came to see that if she left the chart this week she would have spent exactly 200 consecutive weeks inside the chart. Exactly since week #37 of 2009. Can someone tell me if that is a record?? THANKS.
July 4, 201312 yr I don't know about Rihanna's 'Run' in the UK iTunes Singles Chart, but I do know that she holds the 'Chart Record' for the longest 'Run' in the Top 75 of The OCC Singles Chart. RIHANNA'S RECORD BREAKING TOP 75 UK SINGLES CHART 'RUN' 1) THE RUN BEGAN WITH - W/E 12th September 2009 - RUN THIS TOWN (With Jay-Z & Kanye West) - A New Entry at No.1 2) THE RUN ENDED WITH - W/E 8th June 2013 - DIAMONDS - At No.60 (Then a fall to No.77 on W/E 15th June) Total = 196 consecutive Top 75 Singles Chart Weeks for Rihanna. By far the longest such Run..... Then - 2 Weeks later - a fresh 'Run' began for her:, W/E 22nd June 2013:, A) Live Your Life (T.I. Featuring Rihanna) re-entered at No.52 B) Diamonds re-entered at No.57 C) Stay re-entered at No.69 Edited July 4, 201312 yr by zeus555
July 4, 201312 yr Author I thought the chart was Top100. Then if its top75 then you are right it ended 4 weeks ago
July 4, 201312 yr The top 100 has been published on the OCC website since 2007 but official record books and the like continue to arbitrarily cut it off at 75 so for most purposes the top 75 is still the 'official' chart. It's only 4 weeks' difference anyway assuming she does drop out of the top 100 this week (although I think 'Diamonds' may hang on with the weekend effect). Edited July 4, 201312 yr by Bré
