Posted July 6, 201313 yr Kings of Leon are finally releasing new material this year. The first track from their brand new album due out on 24th September, "Supersoaker". The band are headlining V Festival next month so expect them to play some new songs from the album including SS. Supersoaker will be released next week apparently. Hmm I hope it isnt disappointing unlike their previous stuff. Song here Edited July 18, 201313 yr by Rob92
July 6, 201313 yr Author There is a few videos on YouTube of them performing Super Soaker. The track is Sounding alright but unsure whether it'll do much for them these days.

July 6, 201313 yr Author What an unfortunate acronym. Well I did mention Supersoaker twice. Just got lazy writing it again. Edited July 18, 201313 yr by Rob92

July 18, 201313 yr Author Is Supersoaker one word or 2 words as in Super Soaker I quite like it actually since I'm a fan of KoL 1 word. I keep splitting it into two
August 7, 201313 yr "Supersoaker" has grown on me and this is lovely. Like if things had actually happened on Come Around Sundown. MC8QcaMMVQE
September 17, 201313 yr Streaming the album now, halfway through and it's already better than Come Around Sundown. Everything seems to be very bright and breezy, I wonder whether it'll have a great deal of depth.
September 17, 201313 yr I listened to it late last evening and it didn't impress me AT ALL. Where are the CHOONS+1/2 like Closer, On Call, Use Somebody or The Face?! :(

I kind of like the fact they've stopped trying to recreate Closer for every album opener, even though I liked The End. On Call remains my favourite of theirs and there's nothing on that level here but it sounds like a career saver to me. Good, solid stuff and Wait For Me remains gorgeous.
September 17, 201313 yr Everything from 2:30 onwards is just GOOSEBUMPS INDUCING. Favourite from their last album by far <3
November 6, 201312 yr Author Thought I'd mention that KOL are gonna be playing at the Children in Need Rocks gig next week.
