First single from ARTPOP coming August 19th, album to follow on the 11th November.

The date for Lady Gaga's new album Artpop has been revealed via Facebook as November 11.

 

After 'quitting' Twitter, as the artist's bio reads "This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates." news appeared on Gaga's Facebook page regarding the forthcoming releases.

 

The lead single from the new record will be released on August 19 and the album/app will be available to pre-order from September 1 and released on November 11.

 

Alongside a new image of Gaga with 'Artpop' tattooed on her arm, was a statement explaining the concept of the new album.

 

The combined album/app has been built by TechHAUS, a division of the Haus of Gaga, and is said to combine 'music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community - "the auras"'

 

The artist was recently revealed as making her live comeback at the iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse in Camden this September.
