GaGa isn't exactly guaranteed a chart topper in this day and age, but providing she doesn't cock this up she could do it...

Pretty much echoing what most people are saying about this, I love this on first listen and I already know it's gonna be my favourite Ellie single to date! Deserves #1 but will probably end up at #2 or #3.

I would love for it to go to #1 but I think top 5 is a fair prediction. #3 or #4 more specifically. Would love for her to get a #1 one day though!

I wasn't sure on this when I first heard it but it has grown on me a lot I love it now!

 

If she moves the release to the 12th I'd say definetly number 1 but she should easily go top 3

Good move, shows she wants no.1 by not bringing it forward to clash with Miley too, but it's pretty bland. Not a patch on Anything Could Happen.

I think it could be #1, provided there isn't much competition. She's been so unlucky in the past, but this is definitely her best since 'Starry Eyed'.

'Roar' is released Monday 12th and this is released Sunday 18th, so this is the week after, but up against Gaga and Katy's second week sales I can't see it getting higher than #3 and at that I am not entirely sure it will reach the top 3.

 

EDIT: Sorry have I missed the boat and she has brought this forward? Either way I can't see this going to #1.

I think this is almost certain to go to number one judging by iTunes pre-orders. I doubt Katy will release ' Roar ' On Air / On Sale in the United Kingdom either, I expect a late September release for ' Roar '.

I think it will reach #4 behind Avicii, Miley and Tinie (in no particular order). I do hope it can get to #1, but I can't see Ellie being able to achieve over 90,000 sales which I think she'll need. Katy will probably not release 'Roar' here straight away, although I hope she does as she easily has a large enough fanbase to get into the iTunes top 10 and then stay there for several weeks as airplay increases for her.

I really like 'Burn' but then I really liked 'Figure 8' and that didn't exactly become the hit it deserved. However, being a new single I'm predicting top 3 at least for this track. Naughty Boy feat. Emeli Sandé and a declining Miley Cyrus will be its main competition. If Lady GaGa's new single is good then GaGa might challange for a top 3 entry that week too.

 

Of course if Katy Perry does release her new single 'Roar' the week before, then that could change everything.

I think Katy will go in the way of GAGA and release it WW at the same day... so the UK will get it also... but I don't think she will be number 1... so...

I think this song could manage over 80k first week, so it basically depends on what Miley and Avicii are selling at that point, personally i'm expecting WCS to manage a 2nd week at #1 (of course none of this matters if Katy Perry releases 'Roar' OA/OS, that'd probably sail to #1 on hype/name alone)

 

What's this Alienator Remix in the iTunes top 10? Sounds very similar but a little more drum and bassy!
