Take Care is one of my Top 10 favourite albums ever. This is making me feel really bad about not voting. :(

TOO LOW -_-

Yes I know I didn't vote but I only care about a few of these albums.

It's only been out for a few months, if anything it doesn't deserve to even be here.

I was going to say 'it's barely been out 5 minutes' but then neither has Demi which I voted for and is higher than it so I realised I can't say much

Didn't expect Take Care to do anything here (Drake has no vagina) but i agree with Griff. Definitely one of my ultimate faves <3

I can't at With The Music I Die being so low :( Absolute pop perfection.

It really is

I still maintain there should, at the very least, have been a limit that the album couldn't have been released in 2013. For me it totally nullifies the list as in no way can an album that is 6 weeks old (for example) be fairly compared to one that is 5/10/15 years old.

Absolutely.

I understand your point and people who think the same were easily able to choose not to nominate albums released in 2013 or not vote for them. We didn't want to include any restrictions as set rules though as someone may believe their favourite album was released this year however strange that may sound. For example if Diana's 'Music To Make Boys Cry' had been released now rather than September, it would easily be towards the top of my list I would expect just because I love the artist so much and every song she releases I love!

TBF though it would have been nice if you could have included "Round 2" or something, to make it clear it's a new thread. You've not even stated that these are the results of round 2.

(A lot of people don't take notice of the sub heading so they tend to miss that)

I've made that change now for this thread, I didn't realise people don't take notice of sub-titles! :kink:

How anyone can consider an album YET to be released as coming anywhere close to being the Ultimate Pop Album is beyond me. I thought we were trying to find Buzzjack's Ultimate Album not *random* album from the artist with the biggest fanbase on here.

Anyway, Warrior is easily my favourite straight-pop album of the past year or so. Not sure how Animal managed to top it here :/

Poor 'Can't Be Tamed' and ' Jason Derulo ', especially the former.

Brilliant set of albums there - Bieber is the only one I dislike! Brand New Eyes should definitely be higher

As much as I like Warrior, I'm glad Animal is above it, as it's stronger imo.

By that logic, Kylie's 14th studio album which wont be out for a good 5/6 years is my favourite album of all time because I love her music.

I knew someone would point that out! :kink: Maybe I didn't explain myself properly with that example. I've already heard around 8 tracks of what will make up that album through live performances as well as studio versions of some that have been released already ('Cinderella', 'Music To Make Boys Cry', 'Kiss Of A Bullet', 'Boy In Paris' and a preview of 'Dead Heat') and they all sound fantastic. Obviously I can't say how high it would actually be until I have heard the whole album, but on the strength of the tracks that I've already heard, the album would definitely be one of my favourites as I would expect with the amazing Diana Vickers!

I was just using that as an example to say that it is easily possible for one of someone's favourite albums to be very recent but as far as I'm aware, only one 2013 album 'Demi' even made it to this stage so I think this shows that there was no need for a restriction as people have been restricting themselves if they have felt they needed to.

Of course! :kink: I was only quickly reading through the list and 'Demi' was the only one that I saw, but even so, only two 2013 albums shows that there isn't really a need for a restriction. And only one of them is still in the running to be in the top 30.

Impossible Princess >>> the others.

FUCK THESE RESULTS. Pile of shyte.
