VMAs are notorious for controversial acts and stunts so I was pleased to read about that article about the constant shades thrown by every top star who attended. :lol:

Basically this - some of those nominations are disgustingly bad and sycophantic.

It has lost a lot of credibility (did it ever have any?) since they've incorporated a lot of fan voting, but for the pure drama and laughs it's my favourite awards ceremony by far.

 

Watching this year's now and though i don't think there was any controversy (bar the 1D booing) the gifs and pictures surfacing are just hilarious :lol:
