I can barely stand Dancing Queen anymore - and it takes a LOT for me to feel an ABBA track has been overplayed.

Pretty brilliant top 6, arranged in a different order they'd probably be my own ABBA top 6 (with maybe Voulez-Vous, The Day Before You Came and Our Last Summer getting a look-in too).

The Day Before You Came, Under Attack, Summer Night City, The Winner Takes It All and Lay All Your Love On Me have been my top 5 for about 5 years, they change order a bit, though TDBYC is almost always #1. 6-20 could include any of about 30 songs depending on how I feel, they really do have about 40 genuinely amazing pop songs in their back catalogue.
Eagle is criminally underrated :( gah!

It's all about the extended guitar solo's in the album version *.*

I quite agree my dear man.

Why is 'Does Your Mother Know' so sodding low  Disgrace :nono:

Deserved winner.

Very underrated : Nina, Pretty Ballerina, Hasta Manana, Happy New Year

My top 3 ABBA songs always was/is/would : Honey Honey, That's Me and When I Kissed A Teacher.

I didn't notice this :o I quite agree. It's pretty brilliant for showing a different side to them.

00 : Fernando

Because of this it seems. Well, with only 5 rates or so it's quite easy for something to skew...

Poor Fernando, it's a perfect pop ballad. :(

How are the HEAVENLY When All Is Said And Done and the excellent Head Over Heels behind Ring Ring and I Have A Dream and outside the top 20? :(

Then again, I apparently didn't vote in this and don't even recall seeing it open!

I didn't vote either which renders my opinion less important, but I reckon things would have been quite different if even us 2 had voted.

Oh and this might seem like BLASPHEMY, but I think Does Your Mother Know is actually BETTER in Mamma Mia, it sounds a lot less creepy when a woman is singing it (I know, sexist) and obv The Baranski can do no wrong *grabs crotch and adjusts tits*

To counter that with a lot more blasphemy, for a long time I preferred the male version of Lay All Your Love On Me from the film. I'm not sure why, it just seems to click in the context of the film and I can buy it being flipped round that way - although of course the original then regrew on me and I now sit with most normal people on that.

It's so nice when a big group really changes tack (in this case by changing the normal female vocals for male) that I can't help but love DYMK though - even though Baranski did do a great job of it.

It's worst ABBA song.

Brotherhood's "copycats" "Angelo" and "Figaro" are miles better.

Me neither and it's one of my least fave Abba songs.

Fernando is my favourite. Will do the rate later.
