:( Ivw gotta be honest though. I'm not listening to the album much. Not as much as I did the other albums.

Neither am I tbh. Gave it 3 listens in the first two or three days of its release but I haven't felt the urge to listen again.

With 'A Million Lights' I bought the standard, deluxe & box to contribute to its week 1 position/sale/my collection, but so far I've only got the Only Human box. I haven't even ripped it because I don't want to potentially scratch the gold disc... which means I currently haven't got the album on my iTunes! :o

I'll buy the CD when its price is slashed, with the way its doing in the charts that could be quite soon...

So Jay, you are agreeing that it isn't her Tangled Up then? Million Lights and 3 Word are so much stronger. I hope this manages one more week in the top 40 though.

Oh it's definitely not her Tangled Up moment for me!

I found Girls Aloud got stronger with each album they released up to and including Tangled Up (Out of Control was a step down but it would have been hard to top TU), but Cheryl went backwards with 'Messy' compared to '3W' and now she's gone backwards with 'OH' compared to 'AML'.

This is my favourite Cheryl album, definitely.

So many gems on it and I don't get tired of it.

I had a listen again today. It is a good album I just wish there were a few more up tempo / dance songs. I'm actually a big fan of messy little raindrops unlike lots of fans. Sure I'll get back into the new album.
I have to admit I haven't listened to it for a while (the One Direction album seems to have taken over my life the past two weeks - judge me appropriately) but I still keep coming back to that trio of 'I Don't Care'/'Only Human'/'Stars'. BANG ON the style she needs to be taking with her solo music.
In hindsight Messy Little Raindrops isn't probably as bad as I remember... But the horrific title makes me so nauseous I don't like the talk about that album.

Edited by Joe.

'Messy Little Raindrops' is SO underrated! :( The campaign on the whole was messed up but the quality is there! A singles run of 'Promise This' - 'Yeah Yeah' - 'Happy Tears' - 'Amnesia' *.*The only track I'm not keen on is 'Raindrops' but aside from that it's no worse than '3 Words'!
Oh Messy Little Raindrops isn't all that bad, there's some good tracks on it. Like Joe hinted at, if it had a better title it probably wouldn't be as badly regarded lol. Even 'Raindrops' on its own would have been a nicer title. "Messy Little..." just sounds bizarre.
Yeah that is a pretty awful title. I loved that album when it came out though and played it constantly, just like I did with a million lights. I defo agree with what Adam said about those three songs being the best from only human. I think she does much better with more up beat songs (I know only human isn't so up beat). She needs to make her music fun and dancey - there's too many slow songs on the new album and even though some of them are great, they all blur into one.
And btw, MLR has my favourite album track of all - 'humming bird.' Not sure I've ever found anyone who shares a love of that song.

I'm actually still enjoying listening to Only Human.. One of my favourite Cheryl albums.

I'm kind of hoping Throwback is the next single

'Hummingbird' is fabulous! *.* So feel good.
