Just had another listen to the album. I'd say my least favourite track on there is 'Yellow Love'. What are the lowlights for you guys?

Not sure what my lowlight would be, possibly All In One Night? Or Coming Up For Air. Both pleasant but not quite up to the standard of the rest of the album.

I do agree that 'AION' and 'CUFA' would be low-ish for me too though!

I'd say my lowlights are "Goodbye means hello", "Tattoo" and possibly "It's about time" :o

 

'Yellow Love' and 'Goodbye Means Hello' could have been cut and I wouldn't have missed them.

Goodbye Means Hello sounded really weak as the instant grat but I like it a lot as part of the album :o Absolutely NO It's About Time shade is allowed :cry:

I rather like Tattoo and It's About Time! :D I don't think I'd miss Goodbye Means Hello if it ceased to exist, but I don't skip it.

I just can't get into throw back. I don't care is still my fav song. It's taken a little while but it's about to become my most played song on itunes. I also like goodbye means hello!

57k sold now, so the album should go silver very soon!

 

I highly doubt this will ever sell another 40k and go Gold, though. Unless she releases 'Only Human', which isn't sounding like something that's going to happen?

Well if a video really has been filmed, it could still be coming. I seem to remember a ridiculously long wait between the I Don't Care video and the release announcement :lol: Hopefully there is another single anyway :( Silver I guess is a respectable certification but not brilliant considering her profile.

Not one single nomination at the Brits this year :(

To be expected really. Neither single sadly sold enough to make into the British Single category and Cheryl isn't the sort of artist to fill up other categories.

So Cheryls two singles this era have sold over 600,000 copies in the UK.

I make that more then either the 2 singles from the Messy Little Raindrops or A Million Lights eras.

Its something I suppose.

 

Wish they released a 3rd single this time around though.

Going by the last figures for each (correct me if I'm wrong), the rough totals for each era:

 

3 WORDS

Fight For This Love: 1,018,000

3 Words: 340,000

Parachute: 370,000

Total: 1,728,000

 

MESSY LITTLE RAINDROPS

Promise This: 430,000

The Flood: 119,000

Total: 549,000

 

A MILLION LIGHTS

Call My Name: 450,000

Under the Sun: 157,000

Total: 607,000

 

ONLY HUMAN

Crazy Stupid Love: 380,000

I Don't Care: 223,000

Total: 603,000

 

So Only Human's not quite ahead of A Million Lights and despite neither of the two most recent singles having spectacular totals, it's good to see that combined they're almost ahead of AML and she does still have the single selling power of the last two albums. Obviously Fight For This Love boosted 3 Words' sales a lot :lol: Still 710k in total without FFTL though. Plus there's Heartbreaker but I didn't count that one.

^ Parachute has sold over 400,000 copies, it was certified gold a while ago! :D So even more sales from that era.

Oh yes! Slayage in 2009/10 *.*

So, that third single will never be happening, right? :(
