All i've seen on twitter and Facebook is how bad that cover is, a bit of dilution on here, I think. :P She just doesn't have the range. I am, however, loving 'Only Human', it's beautifully produced and is perfectly within what her voice should be doing. Stunning, hopefully more like this on the album.

That cover isn't reall;y all that, but Only Human is something else!

Amazing! How did she not release this as the 2nd single? That would've sold the album even better imo and it would've slayed in an x-factor performance

(Unless she's saving this for the Xmas period with a performance on The X Factor ofcourse)

I know. "I Don't Care" is gonna flop, it's too generic. "Only Human" is very different for Cheryl and it would've given her some credibility (at least within X Factor circles).

It's a pre-album single by Cheryl. It's not going to flop, but Only Human would've been something different from her.

She slays her ballads/power songs tho.

Bookmark me! ;) By flop, I mean it will miss #1 which is a flop for a pre-album Cheryl single.

I Don't Care is absolutely not gonna flop lmao, especially with an X Factor performance. It SCREAMS hit to me. Only Human is very overrated on here imo, I like it but I don't think it's single material

I think they're all bitches. I don't care what anyone says, I love her voice and thought that was a great cover.

So far it's pre-order does not indicate it will be a #1 - it's languishing in the 300s.

X Factor is not the powerhouse it once was - the boosts are only effective if the song really connects with the audience (i.e. Beneath Your Beautiful). Plenty of acts related to X Factor missed #1 even with a performance last series - Little Mix, Gary Barlow, One Direction, JLS, Olly Murs, James Arthur, Rebecca Ferguson and Leona Lewis all had singles or albums miss #1.

I don't think it'll flop, especially with an X Factor performance as you say, but I can't see it holding up particularly well as I think a lot of people will be put off by the poorly sung chorus. I foresee a shortish top 40 run by Cheryl standards.

Funny that you think 'Only Human' is overrated when I think it's about the only thing related to her that isn't overrated on here :drama:!

You think people are bitches for pointing out that she doesn't have the vocal ability for that song?!

I'm not too worried for its pre-orders. For CSL, she had the BGT performance to get the pre-orders back very high. The song will be added to Radio 1 playlist from Monday so I guess it will start climbing again.

If this song doesn't make it to the top I will be very disappointed, it's so good.

There's still 3 weeks to save it, but normally #1s are just in the top 100 by now.

I guess CSL managed to get #1 against Rude, so who knows?

To be fair, I Don't Care did spend a good amount of time top 100 already :P Plus its airplay is only just starting, Radio 1's airplay hasn't even kicked in yet.

I really don't see 'I Don't Care' missing the #1 spot! Maybe these will be famous last words. It seems to me like the releases leading up to her week of release & her direct competition in her week of release is overall quite weak...

At this point the only song I can potentially see being competition for Cheryl is Meghan Trainor, if 'All About That Bass' is still riding high in the next 3 weeks. Or indeed if there's something brand new from a major artist that comes along to derail Cheryl's chances. How things are looking at the moment, I'd say Cheryl pretty much has it in the bag.

Pitbull is coming for that 5 week #1 with Fireball tho :smoke:

I ain't here for that mess of a song http://i.imgur.com/uQ4DGQQ.png

I felt compelled to come here and say that 'Only Human' sounds even more glorious to me today, I haven't stopped playing it since release and I think it's rapidly becoming the 'Shake It Off' to my Ultraviolence :o

I agree, it's glorious. So much better than the other two singles. Up there with her very best.
