30 albums were chosen by Buzzjack as being among the most essential pop albums ever, and the final voting has determined Buzzjack's pinnacle - your Ultimate Pop Album! 33 of you voted using the Eurovision system, giving 12/10/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 points to your top 10 albums here and the votes have been all counted and we have a winner. The votes will be revealed in a 'live' style, much like our very own BJSC and the real Eurovision, with results commencing tomorrow night. The albums below are in contention, so feel free to speculate, predict and marvel until I start counting down :D

(though given this is Buzzjack and anything before 2011 is ancient history I'll settle for top 10)

I just hope the Saturdays take up #29 and #30 :( And please let's have a 0 pointer that would be fab <3
"The Fame Monster" for the landslide winner? Finding it slightly hard to call, Rihanna should do very well but I don't know which of her three options would have the most overwhelming support.

Loud surely?! It has the hits and good album tracks whilst Good Girl Gone Bad is a bit shit once you look past the four great singles/three other singles.

Rated R >>> Loud >>>>>> every other Rihanna album

Oh and I do think we'll get The Fame Monster winning, which wouldn't be the worst winner but it really is half amazing, half unlistenable shit.

Yeah this is exactly how i'd rate them too.

The Fame Monster would be an incredible winner from my part of course, and probably would have been a shoe-in for the #1 a couple of years ago. Not sure if it will now though.

Oh and expecting any trace of MAN to be kicked out immediately.

Well there are only two left!

LOUD is a horrendous album and I am entirely convinced that people look past the filler just because of the first three singles. No album with a song like 'Fading' should come anywhere near an all time fave list.

GET. THE. FUCK. OUT. It's the most flawfree album ever.

It's not flaw free by any means (Raining Men and Man Down see to that) but Fading is LOVELY.

Man Down is wonderful <3 That and Only Girl are clear 11/10 moments. The only tracks I don't love on Loud are Skin , which is still a 7.5/10 probably, it's just a bit out of place and would sound better on Rated R and also Fading, which is also a 7 or 7.5/10 but is a bit dull.

I've never been down for URBAN Rihanna (or anyone for that matter, really) so the more pop leaning ballads and midtempo's are right up my street. I know it gets a lot of hate but California King Bed is one of my very favourite RiRi tracks, featuring her best vocal performance to boot.
'Fading' isn't unpleasant or anything, but it's so obviously bland and it's so clear it took all of two minutes to create that it just doesn't sound like a song on an "alltime great" album. LOUD is a "singles and filler" album through and through.

CKB would actually be one of my RiRi tracks too - probably just outside the top 5.

It changes all the time but:

01 Unfaithful

02 Only Girl (In The World)

03 Disturbia

04 Man Down

05 Diamonds

LOUD is a "singles and filler" album through and through.

Could you explain how?

Good Girl Gone Bad is my fav Rihanna Album, I love Breaking Dishes, and of course Umberella

Could you explain how?

It has songs designed to be singles, and songs designed to fill space. Hence "singles and filler".
