August 2, 201311 yr 1+1, At Last, Single Ladies ((though I see how people could dislike it) and Ave Maria too low :(
August 2, 201311 yr 37: (6.958) From 'B'Day' Highest rate: 10 (FleetSeb, Davidson & Aled.) Lowest rate: 3 (Michael!, Johnkm & FührerWall) I thought Single Ladies at #42 was ridiculous, but this is something else. Oh Buzzjack.
August 3, 201311 yr Author 35: (7.060) From '4' Highest rate: 10 (Lovett, Acoustic & AaronTM) Lowest rate: 2 (Nick F1) 34: (7.087) From 'B'Day: Deluxe Edition' Highest rate: 9.5 (HausofKubrick) Lowest rate: 4 (SceneofSIXCrimes & Michael!) 33 (more 10s): (7.087) From 'Austin Powers In Goldmember OST'/'Dangerously In Love' Highest rate: 10 (Lukuzz) Lowest rate: 5 (Leonardo, Marina XCX & Conderella) 32: (7.125) From 'Dangerously In Love' Highest rate: 10 (Conderella & Davidson) Lowest rate: 4 (SceneofSIXCrimes, Michael! & FührerWall) 31: (7.139) From '4' Highest rate: 11 (Marina XCX) Lowest rate: 3 (O Mie d'Eliza) Two absolutely gorgeous 4 tracks open and close this section. First is the explosive power ballad "I Care" about a relationship involving unrequited love and caring. It was one of my immediate highlights from the album, and is one of many emotional numbers on the album, lead by percussion and a synthesiser again. The next is a fan-favourite which was eventually released as the album's sixth single, after originally only being included on the 'deluxe' edition of the album. It speaks about all the things that Beyoncé will do for her lover and is absolutely packed with hooks. At #34 is a song from the deluxe edition of Bey's second album. It speaks about Beyonce's lover accepting her for all of her flaws and shows a more vulnerable side to her, especially compared to the majority of the B'Day album. The video features a black-and-white theme (later heavily used throughout the I Am... Sasha Fierce era) and a grainy film texture to match the production of the track. We've not had any Dangerously In Love tracks in the past thirty songs but two appear here! The first is Beyoncé's first ever single as a solo artist, recorded for the film Austin Powers In Goldmember, in which she stars. It's a heavily funk-influenced track, and perhaps was the inspiration for future singles such as "Déjà Vu". Beyoncé occasionally performs the song during breakdowns in "Crazy In Love", including during her I Am... World Tour and 2011 Glastonbury set. "Dangerously In Love 2" is the title track from the album, and is a second part to the song "Dangerously In Love" originally included on Destiny's Child Survivor album. The song is about being romantically obsessed, and is musically similar to the original. It's a nice mid-tempo track though, and is far better than the majority of the other songs on the album.
August 3, 201311 yr What even at I Care? :( Behind Start Over and I Was Here it's my fave 4 album track, but I'm REALLY not in tune with Buzzjack's Bey taste it seems, every block so far I think I've objected to at least one placing!
August 3, 201311 yr THEO stop with this heartbreak please :( Flaws and All is definitely one of my favourite album tracks. Absolutely majestic.
August 3, 201311 yr Author THEO stop with this heartbreak please :( Flaws and All is definitely one of my favourite album tracks. Absolutely majestic. It is not my fault at all!!1! I love them all too :P Although I have given everything in the top 36 at least a 7, everything in the top 52 at least a 6 and everything below it at least a 4 (less impressive) :P
August 3, 201311 yr Well you could have at least fixed the results like i did with the Jacko rate B-) Saying that a lot of filler has gone, so still plenty to look forward too. Woop.

August 3, 201311 yr 'I Was Here' needs to get out. Pleasantly surprised that I'm not the only one on BJ who loves ''03 Bonnie & Clyde' if it is in the top 30. I hope it makes the top 20 at least.
August 3, 201311 yr I Was Here is absolutely glorious, my favourite Bey album track ever  Listen or Irreplacable ftw though.
August 3, 201311 yr Halo winning would be the best outcome. Needs to happen. Also, Diva was far too low, out of all Beyoncé's controversial tracks I think it's the one I care for best.
August 4, 201311 yr Author I find it odd that the equally 'grating' "Ring The Alarm" and "Freakum Dress" are top 30, when "Diva, "Ego"(!), "Single Ladies" and "Video Phone" are all out already...
August 4, 201311 yr Author 30: "Scared Of Lonely" (7.146) From 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' Highest rate: 10 (Lovett) Lowest rate: 1 (FührerWall) 29 (more tens): (7.146) From 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' Highest rate: 10 (Leonardo, Acoustic & Davidson) Lowest rate: 2 (Nick F1) At #30 is a track taken from the Sasha Fierce side of Beyoncé's 2008 album. "Scared Of Lonely" is far more R&B-oriented than the rest of the disc which is largely electropop. It's got a great hook and I can understand why it's more liked than other songs from the album (in fact, it places fourth of the Sasha Fierce songs alone!). The hook is very infectious and despite that it wasn't performed on the I Am... Tour! Following it is a song from the other side of the album, I Am..., and musically it's not too dissimilar. It's much less of a mid-tempo number though, although the chorus is still very sweet and talks about effectively star-crossed lovers. It was originally titled "Smack Into You", earning Beyoncé a credit for changing 'smack' to 'smash'(!). The song then featured in the film Obsessed in which Beyoncé starred, about a stalker of her character.
August 4, 201311 yr 'Scared Of Lonely' (and 'Sweet Dreams') makes the SF disc. Edited August 4, 201311 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
August 4, 201311 yr Author 28: (7.150) From 'The Element Of Freedom' Highest rate: 10 (Leonardo & Johnkm) Lowest rate: 2 (Michael!) 27: "Schoolin' Life" (7.194) From '4: Deluxe Edition' Highest rate: 10 (FleetSeb & AaronTM) Lowest rate: 4 (Lukuzz & O Mie d'Eliza) Up next is a duet with Alicia Keys and a song that reportedly made her push back the release of parent album The Element Of Freedom so that Keys could record a track with Beyoncé. It's a mid-tempo R&B song which features the artists telling their lovers to write them a song to prove their worth to them. It was going to be released as a single, with a video filmed on location in Rio, Brazil, but it wasn't released due to 'creative differences'. It's a shame, as it could've been a massive hit due to their profiles at the time of release! Following it is the final deluxe edition track taken from Bey's most recent album, 4. It's a fun, funk-based R&B song, with inspiring lyrics from Beyoncé reflecting on her lifetime achievements and telling the audience that she can do whatever profession you want to help. I'm surprised it has made it this high, as although I like it, there are far better songs on the album that have already been!
August 5, 201311 yr Author 26: "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" w/ Jay-Z (7.200) From 'The Blueprint²: The Gift & The Curse' Highest rate: 10 (SceneofSIXCrimes & Michael!) Lowest rate: -1 (CallumTheSats4) 25: (7.250) From 'B'Day' Highest rate: 10 (Nick F1, Acoustic & Davidson) Lowest rate: 3 (Michael! & HausofKubrick) At #26 is the second oldest song in the countdown, "'03 Bonnie & Clyde", the first musical outing for Beyoncé with future husband Jay-Z, based around the song "Me And My Girlfriend" by Makaveli (aka 2pac). It's a flamenco-inspired laidback R&B song featuring the couple proclaiming that all they need is each other. The song created a feud between the artists and Toni Braxton after she was going to use the sample for her own song "Me And My Boyfriend", after which she stated that "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" was taking money out of her kids' college funds! The first song in the top 25 is another B'Day album track and another that had a video created for the B'Day Video Anthology Album. The song advises women who have straying partners to dress themselves up nice and flirt themselves to regain their partners' affections. It's another funk-inspired song from the album, and is one of the fiercest songs on the album. It was shortlisted to be the album's second single, but "Ring The Alarm" pipped it in the end.
August 5, 201311 yr '03 Bonnie & Clyde is decent enough but they obviously have much better stuff together coming up. Ugh Freakum Dress is up there as one of her absolute worst though :/
August 5, 201311 yr Author 24: (7.417) From 'Dangerously In Love' Highest rate: 10 (Simon., Marina XCX, Lukuzz & Acoustic) Lowest rate: 4 (SceneofSIXCrimes & FührerWall) 23: (7.438) From 'B'Day' Highest rate: 10 (Nick F1, Griff, Conderella, Lukuzz & Aled.) Lowest rate: 2 (FührerWall) At #24 is the third single from Beyoncé's first album and her first solo single to miss the UK top ten! It's a low-tempo R&B song and as with "Freakum Dress" is about a philandering boyfriend. It was her most personal single to-date (although she's released more personal songs singles) and is an anthem for women in similar situations. The single artwork is pretty iconic in that Beyoncé appears to HAVE NO TORSO. Speaking of iconic artwork, up next is "Ring The Alarm" which features Beyoncé posing with two baby alligators (which was criticised by PETA (who isn't?!) because the pose was 'arguably abusive'). The song is another fiesty number which starts with a siren which repeats throughout. The lyrics talk about a woman who feels threatened by another woman who has come into her lover's life (rumoured to be about Rihanna's relationship with Jay-Z). I'm very surprised that it's made it this high, although the reference to chinchilla coats is worth an 11 alone (I gave it a 7).
