August 5, 201311 yr Two brilliant songs out there imo love both! Didn't think either would be this high though
August 6, 201311 yr Author 22: (7.479) From '#1's'/'B'Day' Highest rate: 9 (Nick F1, Marina XCX, Eyes, Mikeyjosh, Johnkm & Aled.) Lowest rate: 0 (Michael!) 21: (7.480) From '4' Highest rate: 11 (CallumTheSats4) Lowest rate: 2 (Nick F1) At #22 is the highest song on the countdown to not receive a score of 10 or higher. That song is "Check On It", originally recorded for the 2006 remake of The Pink Panther, although it was scrapped from the soundtrack and was released on Destiny's Child's first greatest hits set in 2005 instead. It's a fun, sassy R&B song with Beyoncé inviting sleazy males to stare at her body whilst she's dancing in da club. It became Bey's third solo Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit and I'm actually surprised it's liked as much as it is (although it is fairly inoffensive save for the rap by Slim Thug). Just missing out on a top 20 placing in this countdown is "Countdown"! Released as the third single from 4, it was one of my immediate favourites from the album, with an infectious beat and chorus line. The music video featured a heavily pregnant Beyoncé in various scenes and attracted controversy after similarities were noted between it and Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
August 7, 201311 yr Losing some genuinely great songs now, gutted for Countdown to be so close and just miss the top 20.
August 7, 201311 yr Never did get why Countdown was hailed as such a favourite on the album. I've grown to like it more now but it's only moved from annoying to average for me.
August 7, 201311 yr Author bOXvqkC3W4M 20: "Green Light" (7.583) From 'B'Day' Highest rate: 10 (Nick F1 & Conderella) Lowest rate: 3 (FührerWall) Opening up the top 20 is the fifth UK single from B'Day, released as part of the Freemasons EP as part of four remixes of singles from the album. The original is a funk-R&B song, produced by man of the moment Pharrell/The Neptunes, so I imagine the original would be more successful if released today. The lyrics talk about Beyoncé giving her ex-lover the 'green light' to move out. The remix is a lot better in my opinion, although it does just sound the same as every other Freemasons production/remix.
August 7, 201311 yr Freemasons are Gods of remixes  Nice to see GL in top 20, shame about Check On It, Ring The Alarm and Freakum Dress. All top 10 worth imo.
August 7, 201311 yr Author http://oi53.tinypic.com/2ljrzm0.jpg 3: B'Day (7.667) Highest rate: 11 (Lukuzz) Lowest rate: 3 (Michael!) The album finishing in third place is Beyoncé sophomore effort, B'Day, and it's the point in which she truly came into her own as an artist. Featuring five UK top ten singles (and three more international singles), a new approach was seen to Bey's work where she produced music videos for almost every song on the album (as I have previously mentioned to include on her B'Day Anthology Video Album). The direction saw a change from the laidback R&B of Dangerously In Love to an all-round more soulful and funk-influenced collection, and it definitely worked in Bey's favour! My non-single highlights would be "Flaws And All", "If" and "Resentment" although to me, despite not being as strong as her later two albums in terms of production and vocals, there isn't a track that I would skip.
August 7, 201311 yr Oh B'Day coming third :( Putting that down to the fact it's older than the two still to come. I haven't gone through her albums as much but this is probably my favourite. Some killer album tracks as highlights and strong singles too. Has to be I Am... winning it now surely.
August 7, 201311 yr these results are ridiculous WHAT is video phone / get me bodied / countdown / ring the alarm doing that low.... (amongst others)
August 7, 201311 yr Author i41qWJ6QjPI 19: "I Was Here" (7.740) From '4' Highest rate: 10 (Liam, Jáhq, FleetSeb, Conderella, Lukuzz, CallumTheSats4, Davidson & THEO.) Lowest rate: 0 (SceneofSIXCrimes) Undeservedly falling out at such a lowly position is the gorgeous "I Was Here", taken from Bey's latest album and the essential album closer (on the reshuffled edition at least). One of Beyoncé's most powerful songs to date, the song acts as Beyoncé's reflection of her legacy and her wanting to leave an impact on the world. This was criticised by critics upon the release of 4, although the development has been noted as a tribute to the 9/11 terror attacks, due to the album being released in time for the tin anniversary. The song itself is a downtempo R&B power ballad and features some of the Queen's most emotional and powerful vocals to date. I can understand why you would dislike the sickly-sweet message of the song, but for me, this is Beyoncé at her absolute best, and is a large part of the reason why 4 is my favourite album of hers. August 7, 201311 yr I actually think I Was Here is my favourite Beyoncé album track ever <3 Absolutely gorgeous, so affecting and powerful and just wow.
August 7, 201311 yr I gave that a 10 in my hideously incomplete rate too. :o Had to double check because I'd be hanging my head in shame if it was only a 9, stunning song. Needed to be top 15 MINIMUM.

August 7, 201311 yr WHAT!? Scene committing another crime, explain yourself  A 0 for I Was Here is more than a crime... BLASPHEMY. SceneOfSIXCrimesAndOneCaseOfBlasphemy :kink:
August 8, 201311 yr WHAT!? Scene committing another crime, explain yourself  It just bores me to death. :( I do love Bey's ballads though ('Broken-Hearted Girl', 'If I Were A Boy' etc) but for some reason the 4 ballads are dull imo. Although '1+1' is slightly growing on me. Slightly. Oh and for disliking it, my criminal record should be wiped. ^_^ Edited August 8, 201311 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
August 8, 201311 yr Author dc-vG0BIRKg 18: "Radio" (7.750) From 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' Highest rate: 10 (Nick F1, Johnkm & Davidson) Lowest rate: 4 (O Mie d'Eliza & FührerWall) So just pipping "I Was Here" to be the highest-placed album track, it's the dancepop should've-been-a-single "Radio"! Taken from the Sasha Fierce side of Beyoncé's 2008 LP, the title doesn't lie as it is indeed more radio-friendly than the other upbeat songs on the album (that were even released as singles!) The song was inspired by Beyoncé's childhood experiences of listening to her own radio rather than partying. It's not my favourite song from the album by any means, but I can understand why it's so popular on here.
August 8, 201311 yr Radio  I Was Here >>>>>> though How can one hate that song Edited August 8, 201311 yr by *Tim
August 8, 201311 yr A fair few songs dropping out too soon now. Ring The Alarm is her most underrated song in my opinion, and should have made top 20 at the very least. I didn't hold out much hope of it actually happening, but B'Day should have beaten I Am...Sasha Fierce as well.
