no i dont.... i believe that people who adopt any religion closes their mind, and ive yet to meet a comitted anything that isnt closed to the possibility that they might be wrong! plus they are obsessed with the 'afterlife' of which there is utterly no evidence... just a lazy, emotional hope that they will be ok...

Some of the brightest minds of humanity are/were christians or religious, not that I am saying they´re the majority, but there is intelligent life inside christianity.

 

 

surely if christianity was the answer then every intelligent thinking person would accept it! after all, wouldnt we all want to got to heaven?...

What´s your concept of intelligence? Do you think God should reveal himself only to Phd and instructed people? That would be the way if God had to be perceived only by intelligence. The same way, you complain that you never saw God, but if God was visible that would be unfair to the blind people, isn´t it? Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God. What do you think is a "pure in heart" person? Is that your intelligence, your habilities, your money, your beauty that makes someone "pure in heart"?

Ooohh I´m acting like a preacher now, what have I become!!!! I remember in an old topic I said there was no God, but I always have to be the contraty opinion, lol.

 

no thats not the point im making, it is... that if christianity held any truth then every thinking intelligent person would accept it.... a thick person would/could accept anything, to forward knowlege you need people to think and you need people to listen and understand.

 

every thinking person believes the earth orbits the sun, that the sun rises in the east, that gravity is constant and keeps us on the ground.... universal truth, truth that cannot be interpreted in any other way then what it is.... christianity is not the truth.
