Dynaste has been ruled out for the season with a hind leg injury.

He should be back next season though.

Shame he could have definitely been a Ryanair Chase contender to try and retain his title.

I think there will be lots of money being put on whichever horse he decides to ride for the National! Would be a fairytale ending to his career.

Definitely would be a fairytale ending to his career if he won the Cheltenham Gold Cup and The Grand National as well.

Rock On Ruby will miss the World Hurdle due to working poorly at home this morning according to his trainer, Harry Fry:

I am sorry to say that Rock On Ruby will miss the Ladbrokes World Hurdle after working poorly at home this morning.

He was clearly not himself which is very disappointing for everyone involved with the horse.

He scoped dirty afterwards and is now on a course of antibiotics.

We had high hopes of Ruby at Cheltenham. We will now be doing all we can to get him right, freshen him up and prepare him for the race at Aintree in which he finished a close second to The New One a year ago.

It could be a tight schedule though it helps that there are four weeks this year between Cheltenham and Aintree.

All roads to Cheltenham tomorrow looking forward to the stewarding there for the four days. What a fantastic atmospehere it is going to be.

For me.

The Champion Hurdle is definitely one of the most exciting races for Day 1:

Here is the racecard for tomorrow:

Day 1 Racecard

Who are you backing tomorrow?

Got a mate who's massive on horses, flat moreso than jumps, and can often win a lot of money. I backed a 50/1 winner he'd tipped in October! He always takes a week off to study, watch and bet on Cheltenham. He's been going on about Knock House in the 5:15 tomorrow for ages.

Knock House does stand an each-way chance there at the 17:15

For Me:

Day 1:

1:30- Shaneshill

2:05- Un De Sceaux

2:40- Annacotty e/w

3:20- The New One

Arctic Fire e/w

4:00- Annie Power

L'Unique e/w

4:40- Cause of Causes

5:15- Irish Cavalier

Didn't win anything from the first day, going a little better today though!

1.30 - Outlander (e/w)

2.05 - Southfield Theatre (e/w)

2.40 - Aux Ptits Soins (e/w)

3.20 - Sire de Grugy

4.00 - Sire Collonges (e/w)

Had a couple of EWs come in, and backed the winner in the first race - as I'm sure most people did!!

Bookies must be loving today.
