Posted August 26, 200618 yr Virgin Music news Elton plans all-star hip-hop album Pop star Sir Elton John has told Rolling Stone magazine that he wants to record a hip-hop album with legendary producer Dr Dre. Elton hopes to work with leading figures in hip-hop such as Dr Dre and other stars such as Kanye West, Eminem and Snoop Dogg. Elton told Rolling Stone: "I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats. It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don't know until you try." He added: "I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop, Kanye, Eminem and just see what happens." It would not be Elton's first foray into hip-hop. The pop star featured on gunned down rapper 2Pac's single 'Ghetto Gospel', which reached number one in the UK singles chart in July 2005. Is this the worst idea ever or not?
