You'd fancy them to score one next week but you wouldn't expect them to concede three. All La Liga final? Could be. Athletico have a really good chance of winning this, I'm fairly tempted to put some serious money on them. No Terry and Cech next week will be a huge bonus for them.

I can't help but feel that Real would be fresher for the the final. Chelsea are going have to do it the 2012 way (ish) with their injuries and the game on Sunday.

April 30, 201411 yr Didn't watch it, sounds like their luck with PSG not being able to score at Stamford Bridge turned the other way. Had they gone in at half time 1-0 it would have been totally different I'm sure.

May 2, 201411 yr I'd imagine he'll keep quiet if they buy Costa. I think he'll leave this summer, PSG or Madrid bound surely. Mourinho's comments in his press conference take a dig at him today. He wants his wide players to act as full backs when they're defending.
May 2, 201411 yr I'd hope that Costa would join Chelsea in the summer - we're in desperate need of a striker. I wonder what's going to happen in the summer regarding Thibaut Courtois. It wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea do some sort of swap deal including cash for Costa. Hopefully Chelsea are able to purchase 1/2 new defenders and a new centre midfielder. I can't help but think Lampard has passed it.

Jose said in an interview after the match that Courtiois is not a Chelsea player - he's an Athletico player. I wouldn't mind seeing Courtious being the number one next season. Where does that leave Cech though? He's still world class.

Where does that leave Cech though? He's still world class. Well that's the decision great coaches usually make. Alex Ferguson for example would probably get rid of Cech and put Courious as number one. There may be a slight short term effect, but the long term effect would be beneficial. I can't see Mourinho doing that, and it's probably why I expect he will be sold.
