So this hails from France and is looking set to be a huge smash in the new year in the UK I'd have thought, following in the footsteps of loads of other house hits by unknowns this year. The difference being that this features a central sax riff. Already top five on iTunes in Germany and this reeks of international crossover hit so watch out for it. Lovely song.

 

What's the betting that people are going to think this is a follow-up to 'Sonnentanz'?

it's oddball, but i rly quite like it. i had a feeling when i heard it months ago that it would be huge. love this new edit of it, adds a little bit the instrumental doesnt!

So any idea if this will get a UK release?

I think it will do sometime next year, it's currently charting in more and more countries over Europe and it has now entered the top 300 on iTunes in both Australia and New Zealand! Maybe it will be similar to 'I Love It' which slowly became a massive hit all over the world by reaching the top 10 in many different countries over around a year.

Ugh, this is like "I Love It" all over again. I know that one worked out well in the end, but I really can't stand singles being held back THIS long.

 

Edit: wait I just realised this means, if they don't push it back again, its debut chart will be counted down the night before my birthday. I'm ok with this now :lol:

I noticed the new release date a few days ago. It was top 600 on UK iTunes yesterday which is fantastic for a pre-order that isn't released for another 4 months so hopefully it does become a massive success! :D

This is BBC Radio 1's Track of the Day today! The pre-order's already top 300 on iTunes, maybe a chance of top 100 by the end of today? :o

I guess they're worried about Rita Ora beating it to #1, although May 25th isn't much better as that puts it in direct competition with SecondCity. Can't see this going to #1 either way
