December 7, 201311 yr Author Gangsta Granny: Miranda Hart embraces hair extensions, fake tan... and Robbie Williams http://i40.tinypic.com/2e58h10.jpg We've seen Miranda Hart fall down, fart and flash her bra in her BBC1 sitcom... but never before have we seen her don hair extensions and fake tan. Well, that is, until now. Miranda has been tango'd Strictly Come Dancing style for David Walliams' children's adaptation Gangsta Granny. And her new look isn't the only thing she's embracing. Preview pictures from the BBC1 drama see her snogging none other than Robbie Williams. Lucky lass, eh? In Gangsta Granny, Miranda Hart plays Strictly-obsessed Linda, wife of an equally bronzed David Walliams and mum of the drama's main character Ben. The drama follows Ben as he discovers that his boring old Granny used to be an international jewel thief. http://i39.tinypic.com/2yv85n9.jpg Radiotimes.uk
December 7, 201311 yr Author Irish footballer Kevin Walker wins Swedish Pop Idol http://i39.tinypic.com/2a9d000.png rhnEaKhZffY IRISH MIDFIELDER KEVIN WALKER has won Swedish Pop Idol tonight, claiming a Universal Music recording contract in the process. The GIF Sundsvall player, who played a cameo role in a title-winning side before becoming a stalwart in a second tier team, has confirmed himself as a [swedish] household name by clinching the talent contest on national television. Walker’s victory is akin to Chris Eagles winning The X-Factor or Jonathon Greening triumphing on Britain’s Got Talent. It’s pretty cool. The DailyEdge alerted you to Walker’s story earlier today — giving you ample time to jump on the bandwagon before victory crowns were placed on any victorious heads. Walker beat Elin Bergman in the final of the TV4 talent show at Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe Arena tonight, having seen off thousands of hopefuls since his first audition in Sundsvall in the summer. image Walker impressed the judges at his first audition. Tonight, the Swede-Irishman sang U2’s ‘Where The Streets Have No Name’, Jon Mayer’s ‘Say What You Need To Say’, the Idol single ‘Belong’ and dueted with Robbie Williams, alongside Bergman, on the former Take That star’s track Shine My Shoes. On stage, Walker described performing alongside Williams as “mindblowing” and “an absolute privilege” before embracing the star. The Swedish public made their choice via a phone vote and the footballer was declared winner by host Pär Lernström in the results show, broadcast in Sweden and worldwide online. Thescore.ie

December 20, 201311 yr From http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/1363...or-Opening-Song Text Santa 2013: Robbie Willams Plays Father Christmas For Opening Song The singer sang Merry Christmas Everybody Robbie Williams got into the Christmas spirit by dressing up as Santa and riding a sleigh while singing Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody' on ITV's 'Text Santa' charity show. In a very surreal opening to the live TV show, presenters Ant and Dec began singing the tune with carol singers on the Southbank before jumping aboard Santa's sleigh, which was surrounded by people dressed as toy soldiers, candy canes and much, much more. The 'Go Gentle' singer donned the red suit and beard and steered the sleigh into the TV studio while being pulled along by attractive women posing as reindeers . Very strange! Once in the studio, he continued to belt out the Christimas banger, even hamming it up for the big "It's Chriiiistmaaaas" finale. http://static.entertainmentwise.com/photos/Image/santa201213.jpg Robbie helps Ant and Dec open the Text Santa show (WENN) McFly, Phillip Schofield, Paddy McGuinness, Christine Bleakley and Holly Willoughby joined in the opening extravaganza. Plenty of other celebrities got involved in the Text Santa show, even David Cameron getting in on the action. He was interviewed by the hilarious Little Ant and Dec inside 10 Downing Street. They asked him questions like "do you text Santa?" and "have you been a good boy?" When asked what he wanted for Christmas, David replied: "a bit of peace and quiet and a day off." Very extravagant! http://static.entertainmentwise.com/photos/Image/robbie201213.jpg Robbie dons the red Santa suit and beard for the show (WENN) He also had an interesting theory about the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, being FatherChristmas. "Santa's quite jolly and funny and Boris is quite jolly and funny. You've never seen them together." He has some valid points. Robbie Williams later returned to the stage to perform 'Dream a Little Dream'. Also coming up on the show is Cheryl Cole's cameo on Coronation Street and an I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Here edition of Catchphrase.
