So based on the photo slip up from Mollie last week, those lyrics and the recording tweets does GH seem most likely?

No... those lyrics aren't from a song they're recording, just lyrics NotGivingUp came across by the writer of one of her songs I think. Besides, the 'photo slip up' doesn't a make GH more likely (even if a GH seems most likely the photo doesn't prove anything at all). If anything it makes a Living for the Weekend re-release more likely since the photo Mollie put up has them in the same outfits from the same photoshoot/look overall as the one on the original LFTW cover.

Oh yeah sorry, I just found those lyrics - doesn't mean they are recording that song! :)

I just think with this album being their biggest album flop yet it seems weird to reissue it so soon and to even consider it before NGU has smashed or not.

Most likely planned for later this year. It may sell another 30k by the reissue

That mysterious CD cover in that photo of Mollie is in fact the promo CD single for 'Not Giving Up'!

This is their first promo single to feature a picture of them which isn't used for the commercial single. Prior to now their promo singles have either been the same cover as its subsequent commercial single [Missing You/Higher/Notorious/My Heart Takes Over/30 Days/What About Us/Gentleman], or they didn't have a picture of them used at all.

Why are they using a promo single for a definite release? I'm confused

There's usually always promo singles well in advance of the commercial release, this is typical practice from Polydor. Every Saturdays single has had a promo single thus far! They're intended for radios / magazines etc, but they always seem to crop up on eBay for fans to get hold of. ;)

Oh okay :) Have you noticed it's a leftover picture from the album shoot? or is it just the girls from the album cover rearranged?

As far as I'm aware it's the photos of them from within the 'Living For The Weekend' booklet, but the full length photos. They're solo shots of the girls which have been put together (which seems to be quite typical of their artwork... would be nice if they posed together for their CD covers... would lead to less weird looking covers such as 'My Heart Takes Over' where they're all the exact same size as each other. :drama: )

Oh and not to mention those photoshopped dresses :kink: I bet they all stood in their underwear for that shot which is probably when the album cover was shot too :o

It still bothers me that MHTO and OYR the girls are all the same in colors (i.e lipstick all pink) after the colors of AFU artwork!
it annoys me how colourless everything has been this era but then again, the video for NGU wouldn't ne the same if it wasn't in line would it... :(

The artwork this era has been awful in my view. So dull! Not giving up is the only decent cover this era!

What's wrong with the Disco Love one? I think it's slightly more original than their usual cover. Plus, you've got colors!

'Gentleman' had a nice concept too. Nice to see them dressed as men instead of in glamourous dresses.

It's the white I don't like. The covers just look so empty. Even the cover for NGU looks empty with that colour of blue. For me my favourite artwork is the chasing lights era. Everything grey including them and then the colours that pop out at you

You sound like Mollie - love her comment on This Morning about wearing heels (think it was her) even though they were dressed as men

I agree with you on the emptiness - it is certainly different! I quite like the single artwork from the OYR period - especially the girls onfront of the album as well!

'Disco Love' was interesting, but it also screams 'promo single cover' at me too. I think the white background is what lets it down, perhaps if it was a photo of them wearing their skates on the set of Disco Love, it would be more visually interesting.

'Gentleman' would be fine, but I just can't get past Vanessa's over-sized head. :drama: Such horrible editing! Her head certainly isn't bigger than Una's in reality.

oh yeah i didn't think of that!

if I was laying a bet, i'd hazard a guess that its the single from the Greatest Hits, released in summer?

I just looked up this chelcee bird and a song she has written called Good Vibes has these lyrics...

You know

Fun while it lastest

Smile cause it happened

Shouldn't be feeling down

We had a good run

But the end times have come

Guess i'll see you around

:nocheer:

This made me laugh   It's highly unlikely they'll record this, as Una said they'll keep releasing songs as long as we want them around.

On the other hand I don't think a Greatest Hits would be too much of a bad idea if they got the right promo, but then again this is the saturdays we're talking about hahaha.

You sound like Mollie

Maybe because I am Mollie?
