This track got its first play on Friday night on radio 1 as part if the Radio 1 in Ibiza weekend!

 

Obviously, we know about Calvin having scored 9 top 10 hits from one album but Alesso, who worked with Sebastian Ingrosso last year, and Hurts vocalist Theo Hutchcraft haven't had much, if any, commercial success but this track could be about to change that:

 

 

So what do you think? I've added a newer version in HQ to listen to and I can't wait to get this!!

 

Calvin's name alone will guarantee this will get good airplay and deserves to be a top 5 but with the huge number of big dance tracks out in the last quarter of the year I am hoping for a shock number 1 hit (fingers crossed)

Maybe reach it's peak when other hype for September releases have calmed down..

I quite like it. It's not the music I normally listen to, but my husband really likes Calvin Harris's music. I love Hurts and have hoped for ages that the band get the success they've worked so hard to achieve, so if this is how it happens I'll be pleased. After all Calvin Harris and Theo have been friends for quite a while.

 

I reckon with enough airplay it'll easily get into the top 10. Fingers crossed.

I've searched, and I haven't seen this anywhere on the forum, so I thought I'd post it. It premiered in Ibiza in August. It might be my favourote dance track of the year. I think this is going to be huge!

 

I can definitely hear Alesso's influence on the song. I love his style - I hope this can be a hit and pave the way for OneRepublic vs. Alesso 'If I Lose Myself' to be a success.

I love this song so much. It's on constant repeat at the moment :D

AMAZE. This is already better than most of the last era (which really got old after hearing them about 50 times each on the radio this year), this sounds like a surefire number 1 surely? (although oddly, I didn't hear anything about this until now, I thought the radio would've been all over it already)

It's not out until the 24th November, so probably a bit early yet. I heard it on Kiss last Saturday and I'm sure the Radio 1 dance shows have been playing it too. Airplay will start to pick up abit over the next week or so I should imagine.

Radio 1 should playlist this tonight to give it a month of pre-release airplay. ^_^

I'm going to see Hurts on Saturday night. I'm really hoping to hear Theo sing it, but I can't imagine he will.

I don't understand how they have never charted in the singles chart especially with Better Than Love!

 

Hopefully this will help get their name more into the mainstream

They have charted before actually, Wonderful Life got to #21. ^_^

Pretty disappointed with this, I expected to like it a lot more. Not a patch on most of the singles from 18 Months (except maybe "Sweet Nothing" which I never got the fuss over and look what happened to that one :D).
