282. The Saturdays - Disco Love

OUCH.

They either needed to continue promoting after release week or (more preferably for me) get another single out. I think they should have just released Leave a Light On for the Christmas market and if it flopped, just claim it was only a promo single. Then when Frankie comes back smash it with Not Giving Up.

Disco Love was promoted before and after release week to be fair to the girls. I think it was the best campaign since 'All Fired Up' (with the exception of WAU of course)

I'm starting to wonder if there will be a single

They did this last time didn't they? Left us hanging on for ages thinking Faster or The Way You Watch Me would be released. Then we found out about 30 Days. Maybe the same will happen again?

I guess whatever they are doing the decision has already been made after their meeting. It would be nice if they could say "there will be another single" even if its just a comment for now, with information later. Whatever they release it should be approached like a pre-album single as basically nobody has the album lol

Well they could either treat it like an OA/OS pre-album or make it "album-only" till release week to ensure a higher peak.

There will be another single, they've said there will be and I'm sure they never actually mentioned another single after OYR, and we didn't get one then. I think they're waiting til Frankie's back so they can shoot the video to have it ready. It'll probably happen after Christmas and I think that'd be the best choice.
I'm just wondering how another single is going to help this album; it better be done right otherwise whats the point?
Even if it may not help, album sales, it could help raise their profile worldwide. Afterall radios are reluctant to play album tracks, and we have some single worthy songs , to be completely utilized.
