It has been a good year for 100k+ 1 week sellers, so far 27 this year.

 

Quite a few songs feature more than once in this chart as they have sold big multiple weeks.

 

So as you see the current #1 just makes in at #40, 82k is the minimum a song would need to make the Top 40.

 

For the 15th week Avicii has been the biggest 1 week seller of the year so far defeating the Top 5 dominance of Robin Thicke who occupies Numbers 2 - 4

 

A Top 20 placing on this chart for the Saturdays who spent 5 weeks as the biggest 1 week seller of the year back in March, with their First #1.

 

PJ & Duncan get at #36 placing on this chart with their first #1.

The word 'fastest' generally refers to first week, I think you mean 'highest' :P
